Charged me almost $300 for a leak detection. When I had another plumber came next day, found the leak was at the other side of where Sal's plumbing suggested to cut wall open. Sal's leak detection wasn't that accurate. Their reroute quote was twice as much as the other plumber I ended up hiring and fixed the problem. Also, with such high quote, Sal's plumbing say they won't patch the walls after cutting open. The other plumber patched all the cutted open wall before they leave.

We live in a house in Redondo Beach with very troublesome plumbing - had multiple sinks with smelly water bubbling up on an early Friday evening. Our regular plumber was booked until the next day so called Sal's. Thomas came out with Jose and they were fantastic. Confident, extremely competent and experienced and very personable (and masked). They got the job done quickly and efficiently and explained everything clearly. Price was extremely reasonable especially considering plumbing is hard work and this was a Friday night emergency. Will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended.

Sal's is great. It's been a fun day when I woke up to find an old sediment filter had blown off the side of my house to unleash a river down my driveway to the street. Call Sal's first to get me in the queue...Given I had to shut off water, I called around to a few places.

Other company came first and quoted me a VERY large number after commenting that my backyard was bigger than he thought. A couple calls later and Luis from Sal's was here (despite me maybe canceling them). Luis took one look and quoted me 2 prices:

1 very low for a temporary fix if I just wanted to put back in a sediment filter.
1 quote for 1/2 the price (maybe even lower) of the other guy to permanently replace the ineffective filter with permanent solution.

I took option 2, and he was done in under and hour.

Can't rave enough about how professional Luis was and how he advised me on ways to not waste money. Additionally, the work is very clean and well done.

Fantastic job all around with Luis and even the schedulers! I'll be calling them up to replace my water heater when it kicks the bucket...
