Great Service I was hesitant to call hearing the the lady in the office was a pain to work with, so I called with hesitation. Amazing costumer service, prompt scheduling, and even better service.
Latter laughing with the office lady claiming to hear about her rude office skills, she clarified that office Lady is no Longer with the company. Now the office lady is the owners wife ! Jacob and his son came out to snake our sink, what a hard group of workers they are!
What an amazing service from a mom and pop company.

Sorry share your pain John W. of 10/15/2019. I have similar issues:
1- My tenant was authorized to call a plumber to clear a sewer-line clog. He called Sala's, late in the afternoon of 1/19/2021. O/T was authorized.
2- They were called again to clear the same line immediately the morning of 1/23/2021.
3- I stopped by the morning of the 2nd time, went to the tenant's bedroom, then to his bathroom, trying to talk to ""Jake"" but gave me the cold shoulder
(I understood! it was his Saturday morning, coming to clear what he supposed have three days prior). but I left him alone.
4- Waited for him to finish the task at hand, him and Racheal loaded their equipment's, followed him to his truck to see what was the issues with the sewer-line but still has worse attitude than prior. I explain to him the ""why and why not"", and the need to know, Racheal tried to calm the situation.
5- Two weeks later, I received the bill, I was shocked to see the charges.
6- I called their office to ask for the following:
A- The details of the labor charges.
B- How long do they guarantee their work.
C- Since I was charged for the camera, if they could send me video.
Their reply was loaded with attitude. they made me feel they did me a favor charging me over $800 for labor. They do not guarantee the work. No video they labor charges.
I appreciate talking to Monica today who is the admin. I wrote them the check, but will not call them again.

Nothing but attitude.

First, they are a rip-off. Showed up late (for the ""only appointment we have today"") and then once the job went past 5pm they had the nerve to charge ""time and a half"" for overtime! It would be one thing to work a full day then charge overtime, but they showed up at 11:30am!

Not to mention, the bill was not itemized so I have no idea what I was charged for, who got overtime pay (one of the guys there was the owner), etc.

Second, on the work itself. Fixed a broken pipe and did a fine job on that (which got them 2 stars vs. 1). Then, when working on septic, said we needed a ""$25K new drain field because it failed."" Well, got a second opinion...from someone who replaced a broken pipe for $2K and got it working perfectly. Grrr.

Third, the service. The workers are courteous, which was nice. However, the woman who handles scheduling is very hard to work with and could use a brush-up on customer service :).

So, proceed with caution...and get a second opinion before agreeing to any big work.

We had a pump issue that made it so we couldn't use water for a couple of days. Sala's came highly recommended from a septic tank specialist who said they are experts in electrical and pump issues. They came out same day, after hours and fixed it AND saved us money by not installing a new pump and fixing the old one. Great service! Even brought candies for the kids.

If you think you have ANY other problem than a clogged drain? Save yourself the time and $. They came out to unstop a drain, we paid over $700...it was stopped back up within 10 days and we had not even been home. They came back and charged us again. Within two weeks I called again. Still not working properly. They came out, flooded my downstairs (2 floors of wet ceilings) testing a tub that's not hooked up (remodel), I had to hire some one to come in remove and clean rug, and dry out hard wood floors ($375) hire a plumber to come out who said they were not fixing the problem. The plumber ($1200) found and fixed the problem have not had one single problem since (4 months) I was not going to post the review, but for the flooded floor visit, they billed me $168 which I refused to pay, and have sent me to collections. I will pay it today, but not without warning fellow consumers. Do yourself a favor, hire a reputable plumber from the start.

We own property in Ellensburg and recently it was serviced by Sala's Plumbing. However, we were quite unhappy with their service. Not only did they not perform the requested water test, they arrived late in the day and stated they wouldn't be able to get the sample until they had more time. So they came out another day, and charged us for 2 visits, which was paid. Then we learned that they did the wrong test. This was pointed out to them, but they were unwilling to make amends. Further follow-up resulted in no calls or messages being returned. Shortly thereafter, a ""third"" bill was sent, which needless to say will not be paid. Perhaps you want to seek another plumber - we sure do.

Unfortunately need to report our experience here.. while they came out quickly which was an impressive start, the problem was they didn't snake the pipe all the way to the beginning of the septic tank as they said they did. We dig up our yard based on them saying how far they had snakes.. but tunrs our the clog was in a part they said they snaked.. it was a simple fix then but putting the yard back together that would not have needed to be dug up had they snaked fully as they were supposed to and said they did, was not. When we explained to them what had happened after which we thought they might then think to lessen or even waive our charge.. they did not... didn't even contact us back to comment.. disappointing to say the least.

Jacob, Rachel and team did an awesome job finding and fixing a crushed septic drain pipe at our house. Not sure if it was a coincidence that this occurred shortly after the recent earthquake NE of Cle Elum. There was also the need for a crawl space cleanup and vapor barrier replacement which they also took care of - a job I was unwilling to take on.

Thank you Sala's!!!

I have had these people out to my house over the last two years with drop of the hat emergencies. Septic and then water line damage during construction. My hats off to them as they treated me with respect, gave a extremely fair price on their service, was quick, and did a great job. These guys are your typical American can do and not rip you off people. I recommend them and they will be my go to company for the service they provide. Ellensburg. Mials
