This is a reminder to NOT hire Sal Manzo Plumbing of Wantagh for your plumbing needs. In August 2018, salesman Joe, charged me over $3,000 for a pipe, drain and kitchen faucet, leaving out soap pump and with leak they caused under sink. Also used original rusty clamps to hold new pipe on. Joe came back with Bill into my house to fix soap pump issue, but wanted me to pay more. Called me a liar about faucet was ordered without soap pump, etc. Asked them to leave. I wasn't giving them another penny!
I will be posting reminder from time to time so no one else falls victim to this business. Unfortunately I am in Wantagh often and have to see their business trucks and don't get why they even have calls to go to.

Prompt, professional, knowledgable & pleasant. I definitely recommend their services for emergencies or those times when your husband gets in over his head. Left the 'scene of the crime' clean & neat as if they were never there. Highly recommend.

I take care of an elderly man and he is disabled and on fixed income. The toilet seat broke and we needed a new one for him asap. The guy that showed up reeked of cigarette smoke and had the nastiest attitude. The job took him less than 5 minutes to replace the lid and my patient was charged $216! Just a new toilet seat, terrible service and he had the nerve to try to sell my patient some fluid that he recommended was good to use once a month. All together the toilet seat, installation and fluid was $287. Absolutely ridiculous and greedy for a company to charge people that much. Don't use this companies services.

We hired them to do our whole house and it was one headache after another. They showed up late, and their work was very poor, my husband had to take days off of work to fix they're mistakes. My tub drain still doesn't work :(. They're not pleasant people to deal with either.

They do good work, but it is 3x the price of anyone else.... get other free estimates first!!!!!!! Trust me !!!!!!!

Had a really bad clogged up pipe at mom's house. Called and you were able to send over a plumber in the time you said would arrive. He was wonderful, prompt, work neat, and pleasant. Mom who is 92 was very pleased with the service.

They saved an older, hard to find color today by searching for an obsolete part. It works like new!

They have done gas installations for a generator and a whole house water filter; today they proved they can repair anything!

I will first say that I was quite pleased with Sal Manzo and the way he presented himself to me. He talked highly about his work as well as his treatment of customers.

My friend and I, both combat veterans, happened to run into Sal at a county office. Well, the man he claimed to be, he was not! Sal's work is substandard, but that is not what bothers us the most. Sal did not deliver in quality, price, and most damaging, his unprofessional behavior.

Sal is everything that is wrong with the plumbing business, and should be both embarrassed and ashamed. I would normally just walk away from a man who does business like he does, but since Sal has decided to price gauge and work against us; even so far as going behind our back to the town......he has revealed himself for the awful person he is. Therefore, I will make it my personal obligation to reveal to the rest of the veteran community and the general public how they must steer clear of doing any business with Sal Manzo Plumbing.

Heed my warning, unless you enjoy being lied to, over charged, and then to become the scrutiny of the local government afterwards, once he begins a smear campaign against you. Good job Mr. Manzo. I hope you can look in the mirror. The question you need to ask yourself is, ""Am I an honorable man""? You can lie to yourself, but when you put your head on the pillow, your conscience will keep you up at night. Beat of luck!

If I could give them zero stars I would
They cancelled on me 2 times
First they call the day before my scheduled install to tell me they are backed up and if I could reschedule. I accommodated them. BIG MISTAKE
Rescheduled date comes nobody shows
I call they tell me they are at the supply house
45 min later they call to say an employee called in sick and can't do the job. Its now nov 30 f in cold and I have no heat
Don't bother
Will try Scialli plumbing next.

Not Trustworthy! Guy came in, and my wife asked him to bleed the system. He looked at the boiler and the water heater and told us we needed a new everything. We've never had any leaks in our boiler room ever, and we didn't call them for that. He gave us estimates in the thousands, and then we had leaks throughout the weekend. He told my wife that you can get estimates elsewhere, but I have a feeling I'll be back. (Who says that???!!). So he leaves, then my boiler room becomes flooded when we were just asking to get rid or the ticking noises and bleed the system.
