Unfortunately, had to use this company because the management company that runs my property called them to my unit. Complete and total rip offs! Water was leaking into my neighbors' garage from my tub. Turns out my waste pipe had to be replaced. The guys were here maybe three hours, an hour was just ""checking for leaks."" when the job was done. Received a quote in the mail for almost 1400 bucks. I work in a residential building in Manhattan with over 270 units and we use a master plumber, who has been servicing NYC for over 40 years, me thinking I was probably being a little exaggerated over the price I had him look at the invoice and he confirmed that I was ABSOLUTELY being ripped off. Please avoid using this company at all costs. Like the previous reviews stated, only if this is a last resort!

My shower was dripping pretty badly from the shower head. He came over and said that I needed a new cartridge inside the shower handle, (the part costs $35) He said it it's $595 to install it and another $150 to turn off the main water valve to the house. Over $700. It took less then 10 min. When I said that's crazy he said then give me $159 for coming to the house. He was pushy!!!! STAY AWAY, THESE 2 MANZO BROTHERS ARE GREEDY AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE!!! Disgusting!!!!!

We called Sal Manzo Plumbing yesterday needing a shower faucet valve and inside toilet tank parts replacement. Mike Manzo came after we agreed to pay $109. for an estimate we we decided not to go with them. They charged us $956. with a discount. We made a poor choice going with them. The shower valve was not a Koehler valve thus leaving handle crooked. The toilet repair still left making loud noise. When leaving, they advised no warranty on shower faucet and one year on toilet insides. We are seniors living on a budget. We made a poor choice and never made a review. But we feel Manzo Plumbing is extremely overpriced and the work was substandard. We have had many plumbers over the years, with fair prices and excellent work. Sorry this is not the case

Requested an estimate to install two ceiling fans. Note that wiring has already been prerun for both. First estimate was for a standard height ceiling, $488. Second estimate for a 14ft ceiling was ~$1,300. By comparison, Lowe's charges 180 for a standard install.

When I made the appointment I was clear about the height of the ceiling and they insisted on having the parts available to install same day. When the technician arrived he said he needs another person due to the height and would need to reschedule. Frustrating as I stayed home for this appointment.

Also, technician was about 1.5 hrs late (original window was 8 am to 1 pm, showed up at 230 ish). Instead of apologizing he said they're just too busy.

Called Mister Sparky who I've used before and got a significantly more reasonable quote that also comes with a warranty on the work. Needless to say I didn't move forward as I thought the pricing was way out of scope.

I'm sure they probably do good work but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend. Looking at the other reviews I think I dodged one here.

Do Not Call this company for anything. had simple plumbing issues that needed to be fixed. tech came out to my home and was only interested in
turning a small fix into a major project. he quoted me an amount well over $1,200 for 2 things he wanted to do. after i excused him from my home i went to local hardware store and spoke to the owner who's a plumber . he said i needed a new washer 40 cents , and a new faucet 60 dollars.. installed myself everything works great now.... chris

I used them a few times in the past they weren't bad. Last two times I used them for a leak in my kitchen faucet (the faucet I only had for 1 year) mike came first tried to fix the leak by tightening faucet handle to the sprayer. That didn't work still had a leak and still had to pay the $86 service fee. I called back scheduled another appointment to try to fix the problem once more. This time Kent came I explained where the leak was coming from, and without him actually looking at anything he recommended replacing the faucet which would cost $650. Needless to say I declined and still had to pay $86 for Kent to come and not even look to see where the leak was coming from. I would honestly only use these guys if it's a last resort.

We live in Wantagh in a levitt house. A domestic hot water pipe burst in floor while we were sleeping. had about two inches of water through out the whole first floor. Called Manzo plumbing. A gentleman by the name of Chris came to estimate. He explained to me since we have tile floors it would be wiser to abandon pipes in floor and run plastic tubing thru ceiling. I was pleased that i did not have to bust up my kitchen floor tiles. The crew was professional clean and on time. This company was professional from the beginning. Highly recommend.

Too expensive. Spent over $3K for a service that was done well and timely. Had two other issues soon after and balked at the $80 fee for an estimate for a potential $5K+ job. Told them they were just here and that I want to be a future customer. Was told that they'd consider waving the $80 fee, and they would call back. Nothing, never called. Called another local plumber who came and fixed one issue for free and gave me an estimate for the other job. Yes, Sal Manzo is what's wrong with the plumbing business.

For 4 days they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my heat shutting off. They just play guessing games and charge a lot for nothing. Would not recommend. Especially with the attitude they come in with.
