Founded in 1988, SageWater has made customer satisfaction its top priority. With a background in the insurance restoration field, SageWater's founders, Peter Page and John Ellis, learned early on that prioritizing customer satisfaction is crucial for developing a strong brand and fostering business growth.
During the mid-1990s, we focused on pipe replacement when defective polybutylene piping emerged as a significant concern for millions of homeowners in North America. We have continued to lead the industry by delivering innovative solutions for both aging systems and defective products.
Our distinctive method of communication with residents and property management ensures that all parties are kept in the loop throughout the entire process. Every pipe replacement and restoration expert on our team is a SageWater employee, ensuring quality control, timely project delivery, and reduced expenses from contractor markups. Sagewater is doing a plumbing renovation to each unit in our multiple story apartment building. The process took almost 2 weeks to complete just for my unit. But... the guys who came in each day to do their part of the work that needed to be done were efficient and professional and very thorough. On the day my dog and I had to vacate my apartment the whole day in order for them to complete the asbestos treatment process, Tracey in particular allowed me to text him to get the clearance that it was safe to return home. Tracey was friendly and personable in his quick visits each day. He came in to make sure everything was done at the level Sagewater expects, which is excellent. And he also made sure I was satisfied with the work his crew had done. Very professional team. I would definitely recommend them.
Ann C.Sagewater recently re-piped my apartment and I want to compliment Keegan Sullivan and his crews on doing such a great job. Keegan and each member of his crews have been professional and polite through every step of the process. All my concerns and questions were addressed promptly and in a professional manner, especially when I was apprehensive about having ""strangers"" in my home with my animals. Care and concern was expressed especially since the work was being done shortly after Covid-19 lockdown was lifted. The crew members were all very respectful to me, my pets and my living space. The work was done faster than I expected, the end results looked well done. I'm not a plumber but I've seen a lot of residential construction and plumbing repairs to know a good job from a bad one. (I'm in the real estate business.) The crews are hard working and deserve extra kudos!
sage water is current working on a project in a Grosvenor high rise. Which in this case seems to be way behind their schedule. They originally said in Mid December it ""should only take about a week, and that they would only have to open the convectors"". That was about 12 weeks ago, now that they finally finished. It took much longer than about a week and they made three holes in the celling. Two of which took them over 2 months to get around to closing. None of the three were done very well.
Every conversation with any of the project managers has be an excise in futility. The story and schedule changed repeatedly. They are very willing to give an extremely long technical explanation, however not the slightest bit willing to say sorry for the inconvenience, we appreciate your patience, or any acknowledgment of the difficult they are causing.
The head project manager is certain everything is so far beneath him.
When he was told that a contractor was waiting for them to finish he responded ""I know""
When he was told that ever time they've been in my unit, they've left the door unlocked. To which he couldn't even be bothered to respond.
His arrogant indifferent attitude towards customers in their home has been echoed in every conversation with other residents. At this point have not heard a single good word about him or the way he deals with the residents/customers. This should not be tolerated and is a very clear liability to this project, and sage water's reputation.
There's probably numerous other companies with people much better equipped both intellectually, and emotionally to handle the task.
Sagewater did the plumbing retrofit for Ala Wai Plaza in 2018 and 2019. While it was incredibly inconvenient to go through four weeks of no water during business hours and the noise and dust that is an inevitable byproduct of this type of job, Trey and Tracy did an incredible job in communicating early and often to residents and showed remarkable poise and patience in answering questions and concerns well before any work started.
They were also very empathetic to residents during the work and went out of their way to accommodate concerns and satisfy requests, from providing additional plastic sheeting for dust mitigation to minimizing disruption to the residents.
Problems will arise in any large renovation project and the Sagewater crew proved to be creative and effective problem solvers.
Bottom line is that these guys care and invested a lot of time communicating and were always helpful and willing to listen. They must have a very strong company culture because everyone I interacted with was outstanding. Just a great group of people.
Sage Water is doing a repiping project at Brooks Tower. This is a complete nightmare. They will trash your unit with careless demo ruining and chipping new tile, vanities, doors, bathtubs, carpet. Every homeowner had to pay and have been paying for a special assessment between $50,000 to $60,000 depending on the unit. You will have to remodel your unit after their lousy job. Perhaps they know how to do pipes, but the restoration of the bathrooms in the units leave much to be desired. The tile work looks like an amateur job, not a professional installation. Don't think if you paid 60K you are done. They will continue charing you for a soap dish or a towel left in the bathroom at $200/hour.
They will charge you for any electrical work extra at about $500 plus 25% surcharge. Just give them your checkbook and don't expect any quality for this $20 million dollar project. I would like to hear from the founders of the company Peter Page and John Ellis. Did we provide enough money to fund their living? We are broke as a result of Sage Water project.
This company was selected by the condo association, probably because of the cheapest bid. They determined the schedule for replacing heating risers, without any regard to our personal convenience. They used a subcontractor for demo. The workers broke a door mirror and acted as if they did not understand what they had done. They destroyed the original tile wall in the bathroom, without replacing it. They expected me to accommodate their schedule, with no regard to the hardship it would cause me. In short, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
Charles C.They did a water pipe upgrade in my building. The workers were always respectful of your time and belongings. It's frustrating to have your personal space invaded while such a big project is underway, but SageWater did the best they could to minimize disruptions.
Our building hired Sagewater to do a large retrofitting project. It started off quite rough but the project managers and several key workers came back, fixed any unforeseen problems and did a fabulous job on my unit.
Having your place ripped apart, packing, dusting moving out is not easy! There were some super fellas who listened to genuine concerns, made right what went wrong and definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to make my unit & this project pleasant as possible!
To these gentlemen I give 5
Sincere thanks to Project Mgrs;
Trey, Tracy Malmos & Joeseph Park,
Caleb Westfall, John Suan,
London Fee and Brey Loa!!
Thank you for all your hard work & integrity!
HORRIBLE experience! Did not clean up as promised on more than one occasion. Had more than one water leak after they finished for the day. Created a huge mess on one occasion. Not prompt in returning emails and correcting mistakes they caused. Very difficult to deal with.
Had the pleasure of working with SageWater this year during a plumbing retrofit. This company did an amazing job in our unit so we were really satisfied with the end product. However, I must say that I was personally impressed with the Project Managers and their crew. These guys were extremely friendly, accommodating, professional and courteous to home owners. They were super helpful and approachable, actively listened to concerns, and acted fast to find solutions when issues arise. For that reason, I would highly recommend their services if you're looking for a company that would treat you like family. Thank you SageWater for taking such good care of us, I must admit that having our walls ripped apart was somewhat a nightmare, but your effort, dedication, and friendly faces made the experience sooo much better & worth while. Now we got brand new pipes with an increase in home value! So thank you :)
