Excellent service. These days too often you find yourself with problematic trades professionals. American Home Shield usually has very competent contractors. This one is, Safe Cali Plumbing. But before they sent him, they sent a real bozo. He diagnosed the problem (which actually I told him another plumber who was cleaning my water heater found and explained to me). It took him numbers of times back and forth and wasted time between the pressure tester and the pressure regulator to determine the same thing the plumbers found in 1 minute. Then he began mumbling about things that made no real sense, and said he needed permission to get the simple valve part that was needed (water pressure regulator). Then he dropped the ball and bailed, getting nothing done actually, but wasting a lot of my time and energy. I had to work to get a second plumber out, Safe Cali, and he came, diagnosed the same problem in a minute. He said he'd go buy the needed part and be back in minutes to replace it. He returned fast, installed the new part, and Poof! the actual job was done. What was the other plumber before him doing, thinking? The difference between someone who can do a job, and a bumbling goof. Life can be full of contrasts. Great experience with Safe Cali Plumbing.

Found these poor unwarranted Google and Yelp rating only after I engaged them to dig up and repair my sewer line in my backyard infested with large tree roots and was apprehensive of what I might've gotten myself into. I normally check reviews and would not have called safe Cali Plumbing myself, but they were sent to me previously by American Home Shield for another issue I had in the past. This time American Home Shield assigned me a a different plumber and said it could take up to 24 hours to get back to me not counting, weekends and holidays and this being the start of Labor Day weekend Friday I may not get service call until Tuesday. So not being able to use my plumbing for the long weekend and possibly longer was not an ideal prospect. I called the number of the plumber. They provided and it went straight to voicemail three times. I saw in my history section with American Home Shield I previously had Safe Cali Plumbing come out and recalled what a pleasant experience that was so I called that number directly and they picked up after two rings. I explained my situation, and the lady assured me someone would come out same day to address my problem and she did not see my American Home Shield request and I told her they had assigned me another plumber who wasn't answering their phone and I was desperate to get hold of some plumber. She suggested I call AHS back and request directly for their services which I did and I'm glad I did. Long story short my problem was given a very reasonable estimate I am able to surmise based on previous estimates I got from other plumbers for same issues. I got real physical evidence of massive tree roots in my sewer line and work was performed in the most minimal amount of time over Labor Day weekend. Thank you so much Adam and David and crew. I have learned that sometimes ratings do not reflect current business status.

There are a few reasons to hire a plumber, the main one being they fix your problem in 20 minutes what would have taken me 3 hours. Thanks for coming out, David Bash had everything tuned up quickly and made quality repairs..

I called and George arrived within the hour. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and worked hard to solve the plumbing issues with the toilet. A very pleasant company to work with and they really cared unlike other pluming companies that are only in it for the money. Will definitely work with them only going forward! I almost forgot,my husband and I had our hot water heater replaced last month
Dave was the most polite and professional gentleman he explained the operation and maintenance of new heater
I was so impressed my expertise and knowledge of the plumbing background he had I think he should have been maybe he's the owner of the company I'm not sure but he it was very very professional I've never seen I had plenty of plumbers at my house sometimes two or three are plumbing is very bad but this person was very intelligent I'm sure he's the head number one number in the company I highly recommend Dave!!

Con artist...Horrible, they sent a non english speaker to our house for a simple repair. He fumbled away for at least 30 minutes just to tell me it was broken, WTF, I knew that, that's why I called my home warrantee company and that's why they came out. Since it was broken he wanted $500.00 to replace the shower valve, hell it's covered under my home warrantee. I told him I would not pay the $500.00 to him, then he just walked out the door and left....Safe Cali Plumbing? Hell no!

So... the tech David Bash was fantastic. Even though his assistant tech took my old faucet with him, instead of asking me if I wanted to keep the hardware for backup. However, my biggest complaint was their customer service. I placed my call with them 7/5/23 finally the job was complete 7/25/23. Which is ridiculous, in my opinion. It was a lot of back and forth, Miscommunication, delivery delays, etc. The final project came out nice, but hard to enjoy because of the hassle.
