We needed a total replacement of our new home's plumbing. Misheck was recommended to me by our home inspector. He immediately put me at ease with his down-to-earth explanations of what we needed. Sometimes you just know when you're dealing with an honest person. He finished the job very quickly and did not go a penny over budget. No surprises, excellent work. And he has since stopped by at no charge to follow up on some lingering issues we had. I've already recommended him to friends and hope to have him over to install a new faucet soon.

Honesty, integrity, and competence describe Misheck, owner of Safari Plumbing. While he could have just installed a liner in our main sewer line that he originally thought would handle the breaks and root infestation, he ultimately discovered the need to replace much of the line, as well as an adapter, and install a cleanout. This also required breaking concrete and replacing it. The job proved to be a much larger than he originally bid, but he did it anyway, because he wanted the job done right. This is how he is. And he did it all for the originally quoted price (including photos of everything). Good luck finding this kind of quality service elsewhere.

These guys are great. If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable, reasonable plumber that shows up, Misheck is your guy. I had used Safari Plumbing a few times in the past on my rental property, and was very pleased, but I recently had an emergency at my house, where he went above and beyond. He came out in the morning, and rearranged his schedule that afternoon, to make sure my plumbing issue was fixed that day. If you are not at home, they will send pictures, and video of before and after, and communicate thoroughly, throughout the process. Misheck cares about his work, his customers, and wants to make sure the job is done right, and you are satisfied. Good plumbers are hard to come by, and I highly recommend this one.

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but had to share how great our experience was today with Safari. Although we're renting in LA, I've owned a few properties over the past 10 years in DC and Misheck isn't just the best plumber I've worked with; he might be the best service provider I've dealt with of any kind. Our hot water went out last night and Misheck was here this morning to fix it. He ended up having to replace our entire hot water heater, it was a lot of work, and he was beyond professional and personable from the time he arrived to the time he left. Can't recommend Safari highly enough!

He inspected our Los Feliz home during escrow, relined a sewer pipe at reasonable cost and fixed a neglected sump without expensive replacements. Usually getting a plumber is an unpleasant experience, and one that comes with lots of fears (overpricing, misrepresentation, deceit), but Safari Plumbing is as top-notch as it gets. We have been working with Mischeck for over a year now and every exchange has been pleasant and efficient. He was able to fix our shower valves and heads to work perfectly for a reasonable cost and did our home inspection when we were in escrow. Misheck is a nice guy, but he did a horrible job on our home. We ended up spending just as much redoing his work. Ran two cold lines to the shower. Bathroom floor pipes were too high for the tiling to be put in properly. The Inspector had trouble believing he was licensed. Maybe our job was too difficult. You definitely want a contractor keeping eye on his work.
