Kae R.I was referred to this company by BKA general contractors becasue our drain had backed up and broken off underour house. The service manager Alex came to give us the estimate on replacing the drains and other repairs. He ws professional at the house, and checked the pipes. He emailed me an estimate that was very good and said if I had further questions to let him know. I emailed him back with a question on the bid, and then emailed again because after he left the pipes started making terrible noises. I asked him if he had moved anything under the house. He did not reply (it was on a thursday that these emails were sent) By Sunday night I was totally freaked out and sent another email stating I had sent 2 prior and that I needed to know what he had done under the house.He emailed me back defensive on Monday and explained that it coudln't be his fault, it was water pressure. It was strange, but I responded with ok, how do we fix it? He did not reply again for 3 days. He then replied (and I have been without drains in my kitchen/laundry for over 2 weeks now) that he would not do the job. When I asked why he explain that he was offended by my accusations and that they have worked with other people before who were dishonest and would try to blame the plumber for other problems that may arise (basically saying I would do that) and that he was anxious and uncomfortable doing the work for me. I would gladly provide a transcript of these emails. I was shocked that I would be accused, yet be called the accuser. The owner apologized for the manager's lack of response but agreed that he not do the job. Well yeah, I agree too. It was a very hurtful and upsetting experience. Starting over.
