I called on a Sunday afternoon to ask about a water heater service not expecting anyone to pick up or respond but was pleasantly surprised to receive a call back. Russell helped me schedule an appointment for the next day, which was fantastic, though we weren't in a desperate need for an immediate visit.

Tyler, our technician, came out the next day and reviewed all of our concerns with our water heaters. He was professional, on-time, and addressed everything we needed.

When I called Sacramento Sewer and Drain, I wasn't expecting Russell to pick up and take time out of his busy schedule to stop by just to give me a second opinion. He not only came on time but also gave me three options and the best part is that there was zero sales pitch. I immediately knew that this is the company I will be hiring for all my current and future work. Ruvim came on time and even though the temperature outside was 100 plus degrees he started working without any complaints. He removed and replaced concrete, did Hyde-jetting, fixed my sewer outlet that's above the ground with proper cover, so now looks pleasing to the eye instead of a rustic pipe just sticking out. He also cleaned the area where he worked, hooked my hose back in place. Now that I have seen how these guys work, I will be doing all my business with them. Thank you guys!

I cannot give enough praise to SACRAMENTO SEWER & DRAIN. They are truly EXCEPTIONAL!! Ruben returned my call within 15 minutes. My rental had a main sewer line obstruction which caused waste water to back up and enter and spill out from the downstair shower and spread across the wood laminate floors of several rooms. Ruben is an amazing and truly a top -notch plumber. I informed him that the obstruction was at the clean out, as determined by the plumber my home warranty company sent out. The clean out was rusted and had jagged edges which caught the tissue and clogged the line. Ruben not only promptly returned my call to get an idea of the scope of the issue, but he called back within an hour or so later and said he can go the house immediately to replace the clean out. He provided a price that seemed fair and competitive. Ruben stated he would put a camera scope in the lines to ensure there were no other issues that would cause a problem down the road. Once at my property, he called a few times to indicate the other parts of the line were fine, no obstructions, and that the only work needed was indeed just the clean out itself. I was at their mercy, as I had a tenant in the house. I was so relieved! He put my fears to rest.

I fully and completely trusted what Ruben was telling me; and I am especially grateful that he didn't try to sell me anything that I did not need. One doesn't always find honesty in dealing with some businesses. I can tell you that SACRAMENTO SEWER & DRAIN is 100% upfront and honest. They are prompt, professional, communicative, have excellent follow through, reliable, and more. From this day on, SACRAMENTO SEWER & DRAIN will be my 'go to' plumber. In a word... exceptional. Russell and Reuben are a godsend, when our sewer line was on the brink of collapse due to tree roots I knew something had to be done, and fast. I previously had the big trenchless sewer companies out to clear our line when it backed up, but their estimates they provided to replace our main line was a real sticker shock. After doing some research, I started to compare options between digging the pipe out or to burst the pipe via trenchless options. Seeing as our yard has mature landscaping and nearly the full run of the sewer main was below concrete, I decided trenchless would be our only option. I used Yelp to put out a request for proposals and despite getting over a half dozen more quotes, the reality was sinking in that this was probably going to cost as much as a nice used car (some quotes nearing $20,000) and many couldn't start for several days, it wasn't looking good.

Then I got a message from Sacramento Sewer and Drain who said they could send someone out the next day to look at my sewer. Exasperated from over 8 other companies that had already produced quotes over the internet, phone, and in person on the same day I put the job out there, I agreed to wait another day for one last quote. I'm glad I did. Russell and Reuben showed up and ran the camera snake through my drain. After explaining the condition of my sewer line, and with none of the usual scare tactics, he plainly said they could start tomorrow and for a price that left me in disbelief. Sounding too good to be true, I said I would like to see the quote in writing and with proper permits and inspections, and sent them on their way so I could do my research about this small company that contacted me about this job. Within the hour I had received the formal quote and the option to accept it with a single click online. ""Okay"", I thought, ""that's professional."" After doing some research, these guys seemed legit, but I was still skeptical. However, since there were no sales tactics, pricey add ons, or hidden fees in the quote, I went out on a limb and accepted their proposal online.

Russell promptly texted me and notified me that work would begin the next day. The guys showed up on time and immediately began the work of breaking concrete and digging. Given the small areas they had to work in and nearby structures and pool equipment, Russell's workers were careful and courteous excavating my backyard. Even digging around multiple irrigation lines and conduit, not a single pipe or wire was nicked. Work continued through the day and my fears were slowly being eased.

Reuben did an excellent job of showing me the various pieces of equipment and the techniques they were going to use to install the new pipe, it was fascinating. Work continued and by the afternoon, the pipe was being aligned to be pulled through. This was the moment of truth. As the enormous pipe was being navigated through my yard, it was decided that the best approach was from the opposite side of my property. The pipe went in without drama or incidence and within the hour, the new pipe connections were being made. In total, our sewer main was only disconnected for about two hours that day. I slept well that night knowing the sewer line was no longer in imminent danger of a permanent blockage.

The next day, inspections went without a hitch, and only two days after getting the quote, the hole they dug was already backfilled (the other end was still being worked on by the city and at this time they replaced the entire city main line connection with ABS and backfilled their hole as well). After this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Sacramento Sewer and Drain for their honesty, fair pricing, and no BS approach to plumbing. For future plumbing projects, Russell will be the first person I contact and recommend for all of my friends and family to go to him as well for their plumbing needs!

I have a clogged main line and called Russel for help. They are responsive and have good availability. They cleared the clog as requested and ran a camera through the line to show the condition. They performed the requested service efficiently and the camera footage provided added value. Highly recommended.

Russel came out on an emergency to snake my main sewer line late at night the day after Christmas. I'd known the line on my 1950s home needed replacing and Russell gave me a few different suggestions. I appreciated that the info shared was not a hard sell and I didn't feel pressured to made a big decision right away. When I said I wanted to get a few quotes before deciding, he shared that he would be able to match a lower quote from another company. I'm glad I went with Sacramento Sewer & Drain. I had a leaky washing machine hookup after the flooring contractors hooked back up the water connections. The connections were over 20 years old and rotted. I called Russell and sent a few pictures so he can get an idea of the kind of piping and connections. He mentioned we would need new pipes installed and would open up the wall and put it back after replacing the pipes where the connections were. His team (2 workers) came out within a few days late on a Friday (early evening), and quickly resolved the leak. Russell would have come himself that day as he had done a few times, but he was responding to an emergency flood. His team explained what happened and showed the newly installed pipe fittings. They were in and out within 90 minutes. Great quality, professional work, always high value for the price. Russell is our ""go to plumber"" and he or his team never let us down since he started working on our primary residence and rental property 8 years ago.

I had a backup in my bathtub which we deal with on a yearly basis. After bell brothers came and snaked my clean out they were unable to fix the issue. I was given an estimate of over $6k to find the problem and repair the pipe. I called Sac Sewer and Drain right after and they were at my house within a few hours. I showed Russell the clean out in the garage and he said he didn't want to make a mess in the garage so he carried all his equipment to the roof and snaked it through the vent. Within 5 minutes my bathtub drained and the clog was fixed. They also scoped the lines and showed me everything that was going on.
