Never in my life have I been so frustrated with a business! Michael from sac city plumber did not show up to multiple set up appointments and when he finally showed up the fix that he made to my water heater only lasted a month. After I contacted him about the water heater not working again he said ""opps, good thing I gave you a discount"" he said nothing else and when I inquired about a replacement he blew me off for weeks. When I got in contact with him he said he would go the next day and that was two weeks ago and he never showed up to service the water heater.

He told me there was no warranty for his work due to the state of my water heater but I wish he would have suggested the replacement. I specifically asked if the fix would be worth the time and money and he assured me it would.

His excuse was that he wasn't good at keeping up with paperwork and he didn't have an office manager.

Don't waste your time working with him, he is very unprofessional and the work will not get done!

Yikes, my sewer was backing up. I called a few ""big name"" places and they wouldn't be able to come for about 5-6 hours. I also checked their reviews on yelp, and wasn't impressed. But then I read the reviews for Sac City Plumbing and thought I'd check it out. Mike was in the area and at my house within 15 minutes. He fixed the problem within the next 15 minutes.
I highly recommend Sac City Plumbing.

I have to say that they responded fast to my email last night stating that they will be at my house around 2pm.

Well they didn't arrive until 545pm, they did look at my issue, made a quick recommendation but talked more about their personal lives then what could be done.

Now I have to call another plumber to see if they recommend the same thing with my issue

We've had Michael out three times now. He saved us from two disasters. We have found he is one of the few plumbers who can do a long clean out with a rooter over a hundred feet long. No matter your need he will be there when he tells you. This man will work into the late night to get your job done.

Michael is very fair, he will work with you on the costs, and ideas to improve your situation. He is very honest, hard working and just a good person. We highly recommend his service.

If I could give Mike more than 5 stars, I would. I had 3 different plumbers work on my tub/shower and none of them were able to find fixtures to replace the old ones. I called Mike for a clogged toilet and he fixed that, and then he was able to replace the fixtures. He went above and beyond and was able to fix something that no one before him had been able to do. He is an awesome plumber and an all around great guy. I couldn't be more impressed or appreciative.

Awesome service! The water supply valve to the toilet fell apart when the toilet was removed by the contractor for floor work. I decided to replace it on my own. After I install the new valve, I realized that the old compression ring and the nut can't be reused. Ran to Home Depot to get a puller. In my haste, I did not take a closer look at different brands for comparison and grab the first one I saw. And, of course, I picked a cheapo puller that does not work. By the time I realized my folly, Home Depot was already closed. As I need it fix ASAP, I called around and was able to connect with Mike from Sac City Plumbing. It was near mid-night but he still came out to my house within 30 minutes and replaced the valve at a reasonable fee.

I needed service for a slow drain at a rental that I own in Sacramento. Sac City Plumbing made immediate contact with the tenant and cleared the blockage that evening and the cost was very reasonable. I am very pleased with the speed of service, the efficiency of their actions, and the cost. Highy recommended!

I called sac city plumbing last night and they came right out. The price was very reasonable and the plumber was very friendly. If you want somebody to come out, not rip you off, and get the job done right, I highly recommend sac city plumbing.

I know nothing about plumbing, so when the kitchen sink I was using started leaking Thanksgiving weekend, I knew I was in trouble. After a quick Yelp review, I found Mike at Sac City Plumbing. Not only was he the only one on my short list to answer on a Saturday, but he offered to come over right away, no extra charge. It was I who wasn't ready yet, so I arranged to call him Sunday. (I'd planned to call him Monday instead of Sunday to avoid a weekend upcharge, but he told me the day didn't matter - that it was better to take care of things as soon as possible.)

When an opening came up Sun. evening that fit both our schedules, he came by within half an hour for a quick inspection...and ended up fixing everything in 1 trip!

Not only is he super nice, but his rates are very, very reasonable. I know plumbers usually charge $100/hour, so I was worried how much I'd have to pay, but he charged me much less than that! You gotta' trust a guy who answers my question of ""What kind of payment do you take?"" with ""Anything, including a handshake and a promise.""

Turned out to be a quick fix, but the plus is he was willing to look at two other problems I had (a chronic plumbing issue that didn't need fixing, and a non-plumbing handyman issue he helped me fix pronto.)

Mike is a retired engineer, so obviously is quick to diagnose and figure out what needs fixing and why. Friendly and flexible.

Unlike many independent businesspeople, he's very responsive re: communication. I emailed him late Sat. night about a schedule change, and he emailed back Sunday morning. He answers emails very quickly from his iPhone.

If you want a reliable plumber and overall good guy you can trust, and you don't want to pay a pretty penny, give Mike a call. You'll be glad you did.
