Sable and Dave are the best. They show up on time and take care of business. I had multiple plumbing issues and each time Dave Chuchian took care of the problem with his experience and did an excellent job at a fair price. I've had other plumbers try to rip me off for a blocked drain and pipe and threw them out of my house. Next call was to Dave at Sable Plumbing. He's the only plumber I trust in Los Angeles.

When I suggested that he take a look at our problem at work, he immediately showed up, diagnosed the issue, gave us an estimate and said he could take care of the whole problem pronto.

Sable plumbing gets high praise from me. This morning I had that moment all homeowners fear. The kitchen sink backed up and up and up!!!! Of course the worst case scenarios went through my head, thousands of dollars to replace the sewer line, having the yard dug up, driveway removed etc etc. But no, David showed up and fixed the problem ( and a couple of other little things I had been ignoring. Fast, courteous, clean and fair. What more could I ask for. Thanks David :)

Sable Plumbing's Dave Chuchian has done 3 plumbing jobs for me and he is a professional who knows his stuff. He complete repiped my old water heater lines, washer drain and installed a new Water Heater in record time. He also redid the old with new copper lines leading to my washer and now it performs perfectly! 3 other plumbers before him all failed to solve the problem and, in fact, made it worse. After 22 years of bad experiences with plumbers in general, It's refreshing to work with Dave as he is courteous, prompt and works hard to get the job done under estimate without issues. Sable plumbing is now the only plumber I call. I have Dave and Sable plumbing in line to do more work on a kitchen remodel and he already made some great suggestions that will save me money plus give me more than I though possible. We changed all of the buildings from galvanized pipes to cooper throughout the years and even in our own homes. The work has always been quick, clean and very professional. This is the worst Plumber I have ever experienced. He was recommended to me by a high end kitchen and bath showroom but the rep stated she never worked with him personally. After relaying my experience she commented she never would use him again.

I was in the process of redesigning a loft space for Dwell Magazine. No small feat and you would think the sub contractors that I used would want to do professional work to be showcased in the publication. This was not the case with David Chuchian.

The kitchen faucet and toilet went in relatively easily, but after that it was nothing but trouble. The vanity that was donated by a Vendor did not match up with the plumbing in the wall. David spent a good five minutes arguing with me on how I could use the existing vanity. He was even so kind to provide me great design tips how I could make the current vanity work better. I'm pretty sure I didn't hire you for your design advice.

In an effort to get the new vanity to fit, David let me know they would need to move the pipe. He made a hole in my wall and then proceeded to tell me he didn't think he could make it work. He then came up with the brilliant idea of just putting the new vanity in place for show and I could place the existing vanity in the closet as a display and switch them back when the Dwell event was over. After another five minutes of arguing his team - two wonderful guys who made it all happen - took it upon themselves to try to make it work.

David not only left me with a whole in my wall that he refused to patch although he was kind enough to fill it with some styrofoam so it looked a bit better - I was informed any contractor could make that happen, he ripped off the backsplash of the old vanity which did damage to my wall. He indicated the painter could easily fix that damage. He also did not caulk the shower fixtures - again I was told the painter could handle that. Finally after a nightmarish 3 hours together he proceeded to charge me close to $1000 for his shoddy workmanship.

Additionally, David attempted to add services and valves that I didn't need. I kept reminding him that this was a Showcase space so I didn't need to worry about if the toilet had a state of the art shut off valve. This happen on several occasions.

Well my expectations are not to be provided unsolicited design advice, arguments, and left with damage to my walls and significantly overcharged then you are correct.

I have also complained about this service to the BBB. Everyone beware this plumber is less than ideal.
