I had S Waters come out to my house in San Rafael on two separate occasions. Once for the kitchen faucet, dripping and once for a leaking shower. Both Times the plumbers were terrific, friendly and really communicative. They put on their clean-boots before entering the house, got right to work, showed me the problems, let me decide how to address them, then they fixed them without any stalling or trouble. After the first visit, Rick came back and looked at another problem and they did not charge me for that minor thing. Terrific plumbers!!!
(Do not call Petersen Plumbing in Mill Valley unless you'd like a good price gouge).

I had a pinhole leak in a water heater line. Called at 8:30 AM on a Friday, they arrived 2 hours later. Rick the plumber knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Fast and efficient and a very fair price. I will definitely use S Waters Plumbing again.

Definitely 5 stars plus! Two times this month we had a kitchen catastrophe, both connected to our garbage disposal. Since we rent, we had no idea how old this item was. Rick W. responded to our first call, was there within 1/2 hr and found the culprit item lodged in the jaws of the disposal. Fixed in 5 minutes. Second time, we had a flood on the kitchen floor. We were lucky to have Rick W. there again within 1/2 hour. He diagnosed the problem, went out to the truck and returned with a new disposal, installed it in short order, and we were up and running again. Thanks to Walters Plumbing for exceptional and prompt service. PS, both events took place on a weekend but that did not deter prompt service.

I called and they scheduled a plumber for me for 8am - 9am on a Wed morning. I took work off. At 8:07am on Wed they called me to say their plumber had a job go longer the day before and they couldn't get anyone to my house for the entire day. Complete disregard for my time off of work! They knew the day before and no one bothered to call me that evening or the next morning. So, if you want a plumber that will actually show up and respect your time - this is NOT the place to call!!!

Owner called me ""twice"" to ask me to have this review either removed or edit the rating since they adjusted the charge. I still feel they showed up 4 hours late to the appointment time and ""want"" to charge me for gloves and booties for the plumber to work on the job was unreasonable. I want to keep my word that I will update the review but DON'T believe they deserve a ""5"" star just because he asked to change the rating, so I will move to a 3 star for getting the job done.

Terrible experience
This was an urgent, very quick job that needed doing.
Called for appointment, person on other end of phone repeated back to me all wrong info.
Then called to change appointment by half an hour and someone by the name of Star took information.
Next day no one showed up , no tag on door , no phone call.

When I called the office they told me I had to reschedule.

""Hello, I just need a valve replaced on washing machine. "". Which was repeated back to me ""we're coming out to install vents in your washing machine .

Huh??

Not. Also, we changed time of appointment from 3:30pm to 4:00pm.

No one showed up and no tag on door and no phone call.

These guys are the best!
After detecting we had black water under our house, Steve Waters, the owner, put us in touch with ARC water restoration.
Once the water had been removed Rick from S Waters Plumbing replaced the damaged pipe for us and then he and Brandon reversed our sump pump pipe to our back drain.
These guys are professional, on time and the work is completed with a smile and a cheerful disposition. The truly care about their customers

Yesterday (Wednesday) I learned from a contractor working in the crawl space below the house that there was a leak in a water supply pipe in the crawl space below the kitchen. Around 2 p.m. I called my heating contractor, who referred me to S. Waters Plumbing. I called their office, and was greeted by a helpful lady. She was able to arrange a very welcome an appointment for today (Thursday) between 9 and 10 a.m.

Rick arrived around 8:50 this morning. After inspecting the leak, he said he could repair it in a short time, which he proceeded to do. He also explained a likely problem that resulted in the leak, and said that the copper water supply pipes below the house appear to be in good shape. Rick was friendly, cheerful, and professional. He performed the work in a very reasonable time, also provided a quote for another job I am considering, and presented me with an invoice for a very fair price. I asked him about his company, and he said that he has around 20 years with the firm, a colleague has 25 years, and a third 15 years, which are quite impressive numbers.

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by S. Waters Plumbing and will not hesitate to call them in event of future problems.
