first appointment was cancel by them.Came two days later. replace a flapper ( $6 to $9) took 7 minutes. Use a plastic line to for the sink to unplug it ( took 3 minutes) . Told me that I should change my water heater that it was dangerous to have water heater too old ; told me that he would go to his truck to gave me a quote. Meanwhile I went to google and type water heather replacement : the average cost to have this replace was $1445.00 ; He came back after 15 minutes with a quote over $4400.00.
His bill for his 10 minutes of effective work came to $175.00 which amount to a hourly rate of $ 1050.00 . This is was i called highway robbery.

Kevin from S Waters Plumbing saved us when our gas fireplace wouldn't turn off. Of course this type of thing only happens on a Saturday during the holidays. I called every plumbing service in the Marin area (even some with only 3 stars), desperate to stop the flow of gas to the fireplace. Kevin called back and promised to be there within 2 hours. About 1 1/2 hours later he arrived, assessed the problem and capped the gas pipe leading into the fireplace. He did not fix the problem causing the gas to not turn off because he didn't want to spend a lot of time at the ""emergency rates"" he had to charge.
We will definitely call S Waters Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs in the future. Thank you a Kevin!

This company is far more dangerous than helpful. They ran my sewer line under the house and did not tie in the water drains. For over a year the water ran under my house and began to smell. I contacted them and the owner refused to even look at the situation. To fix the issue it has cost me over $2,500 for the tie in to be done and $2,000 for the earth under my house to be excavated. They are rude, incompetent, and downright dangerous. This is not written out of anger, rather we are hoping to save someone else from the same fate!
I just read the owner's response to my post. The review of the sewer line was done without notice (ie., it was done without alerting me that they would be here and at what time) so we did not know that an inspection was taking place. The issue wasn't the sewer line, it was the attachment under the house from the drains TO the sewer line. This was not done properly and therefore the drains FROM the house emptied into the ground under our house, NOT into the sewer line. I have had 2 plumbers here since and both stated that the work by S. Waters plumbing was done incorrectly. When I told the owner this he REFUSED to look at their error. As far as ""shady"" dealings with an employee of theirs, it is to note that that employee STILL works for them. I was unaware that there was shady business going on and paid the employee to do extra work he found that he stated needed ""fixing"". The owner seems pretty desperate to keep a high profile but the work itself was substandard. We are now in the process of taking this through the court system as a result. I welcome any opportunity for this company to do the right thing and take ownership of their mistake(s).

Have had these guys come out for two different things in my house. Always super nice on the phone, schedule and in house service always good. Will work with you and honest. Local people.

I phoned S. Waters Plumbing on the referral of Kelly Plumbing and Heating for a leaking toilet seal. They were terrific on the phone and Raul their technician was at our home within two hours. He fixed the problems in a timely fashion and all was well within three hours of my initial call. Great, fast service and much appreciated. Thank you!

I want to commend Brandon and tony for a great job in repairing a sewer line that went out of kilter .They got rid of the concrete quickly and efficiently replaced the pipe and re-cemented very quickly. They were both caring and wanted to repair the problem like it was there home.

Brandon from S Waters Plumbing gets all five stars and more. He called to let me know his ETA, listened carefully while I told him the history of the issue and my thoughts on what was causing the problem (after much Google research at 2:00am when we shut the heater off, I know more about power vented water heaters than I knew there was to know). He then assured me he was not leaving until the job was done and we had hot water again, even though he was working in the dark and cold outside. I ran and got the parts so he could get to work in order to shorten the dark and cold part, and he was gracious and thoughtful throughout. And all this to remedy the work another plumber had done earlier in the week that left us with no hot water for three days. Oh, and Brandon left the work areas cleaner than he found them. Thank you so much, Brandon!

I had S Waters come out to my house in San Rafael on two separate occasions. Once for the kitchen faucet, dripping and once for a leaking shower. Both Times the plumbers were terrific, friendly and really communicative. They put on their clean-boots before entering the house, got right to work, showed me the problems, let me decide how to address them, then they fixed them without any stalling or trouble. After the first visit, Rick came back and looked at another problem and they did not charge me for that minor thing. Terrific plumbers!!!
(Do not call Petersen Plumbing in Mill Valley unless you'd like a good price gouge).

I had a pinhole leak in a water heater line. Called at 8:30 AM on a Friday, they arrived 2 hours later. Rick the plumber knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Fast and efficient and a very fair price. I will definitely use S Waters Plumbing again.

Definitely 5 stars plus! Two times this month we had a kitchen catastrophe, both connected to our garbage disposal. Since we rent, we had no idea how old this item was. Rick W. responded to our first call, was there within 1/2 hr and found the culprit item lodged in the jaws of the disposal. Fixed in 5 minutes. Second time, we had a flood on the kitchen floor. We were lucky to have Rick W. there again within 1/2 hour. He diagnosed the problem, went out to the truck and returned with a new disposal, installed it in short order, and we were up and running again. Thanks to Walters Plumbing for exceptional and prompt service. PS, both events took place on a weekend but that did not deter prompt service.
