These guys are the best!
After detecting we had black water under our house, Steve Waters, the owner, put us in touch with ARC water restoration.
Once the water had been removed Rick from S Waters Plumbing replaced the damaged pipe for us and then he and Brandon reversed our sump pump pipe to our back drain.
These guys are professional, on time and the work is completed with a smile and a cheerful disposition. The truly care about their customers

Yesterday (Wednesday) I learned from a contractor working in the crawl space below the house that there was a leak in a water supply pipe in the crawl space below the kitchen. Around 2 p.m. I called my heating contractor, who referred me to S. Waters Plumbing. I called their office, and was greeted by a helpful lady. She was able to arrange a very welcome an appointment for today (Thursday) between 9 and 10 a.m.

Rick arrived around 8:50 this morning. After inspecting the leak, he said he could repair it in a short time, which he proceeded to do. He also explained a likely problem that resulted in the leak, and said that the copper water supply pipes below the house appear to be in good shape. Rick was friendly, cheerful, and professional. He performed the work in a very reasonable time, also provided a quote for another job I am considering, and presented me with an invoice for a very fair price. I asked him about his company, and he said that he has around 20 years with the firm, a colleague has 25 years, and a third 15 years, which are quite impressive numbers.

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by S. Waters Plumbing and will not hesitate to call them in event of future problems.

Wow, are these guys fast! Called on a rainy Friday for a broken water heater line. They sent someone in about 50 minutes. I requested the plumber use copper pipes. He didn't argue about it and went out to the store and bought some, came right back, and installed them. Seemed like he did about 30 minutes of work. Charged a fair price and was very professional. I'll be using them again!

I had a sudden leak from my hot water tank and based on past reviews from this site I decided to give them a call. They responded within 2 hours, conducted the trouble shooting, gave me an estimate to replace the hot water tank, and scheduled the job for the next day. They arrived as planned and replaced the hot water tank within 2 hours. Overall, I am very happy with the customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing help in the Marin county area.

This story may be hard to believe because it borders on the surrealistic.
Rick, the plumber, was prompt, polite and professional and quickly unclogged our garbage disposal. We were so pleased with his demeanor and courtesy (shoe covers, etc.) that immediately after he left, we called the office and spoke to Star, the very nice woman who answered the phone, to compliment Rick's service. Then we turned on the dishwasher and had a problem (suds pouring out of the door - had never happened before). Naturally, we called back right away and asked if Rick could quickly return, since he couldn't have been more than minutes away. Star said of course; she'd try to reach him right away. A few minutes later, the owner, Steve, called, very defensive, and almost immediately began verbally abusing my wife, saying this wasn't his problem, that Rick wasn't working that day (obviously not true) and we should call our appliance repairman. My wife was dumbfounded. She handed me the phone and I said, I'm confused... you're not sending Rick back to check this (apparently related) issue? He said, in a sarcastic, condescending tone, ""Yes, you obviously are confused. Maybe if I break it down more slowly, you'll understand."" I was flabbergasted. I attempted to carry on a calm conversation to understand his logic in rejecting our assumption that the two plumbing issues seemed more than coincidental. Steve became more agitated, sarcastic and condescending. I politely asked him to stop speaking to me like I was a child, and he (literally) yelled, ""F--- you! Stop payment on your g-----m check! I don't care."" And hung up. Unfathomable. Pity, because we would be happy to use Rick's services again but clearly will not be rewarding the owner's outrageous behavior. Strangely, on the surface, it's not easy to find anything but glowing reviews about this company online - and based on Star and Rick, that's understandable. But do a little digging and you'll find similar stories out there, including one woman who writes that Steve called her a ""c--t."" Steve has a serious anger problem.

Totally agree with the other reviewers. Recently had to replace the shower body in the master bathroom. I was referred to Waters. They came right away and actually had to break in to the marble to get to the shower body and replace it. They did such a good job at fixing it back up again we couldn't even tell it was replaced. They were fast, efficient, and CLEAN, and very easy to deal with. Prices I think are comparable but at least they didn't ""soak"" me for other repairs. We'd use them again for sure if a need should arise.

Holy cow! Called and Brandon was out within 30 minutes of calling and was finished clearing up a clog for our washer drain in less than another 30 minutes. Husband was very impressed and said we would hire them again in a heartbeat! Very reasonable, as well. Thank you!

S Waters Plumbing is THE best! After wrangling with our home owner's warranty company for 8 days to get a water heater fixed we finally called S Waters Plumbing. Explaining the problem, they had someone at our house the next morning. Craig, plumber extraordinaire came out, assessed the situation and spent the day replacing the old water heater with a new one. We are more than pleased, not only of course, to finally have hot water, but because of the exemplary and compassionate service S Waters provided. Craig was kind, knowlegeable and skilled. He came at 8:30AM and did not leave until the job was finished at 6PM.
If you want skilled, great local plumbing service call S Waters... and ask for Craig!

I don't know what company you all engaged but not the same one I did. Had used this company several times in past and had very good experience but not this last time. Perhaps new ownership or management because to date they never completed job, have been paid in full and have ignored my attempts to get resolved.

Had S.Waters out for 2 problems we were having, 1- leak somewhere in back yard, 2-replace leaking cutoff valve to back yard so we could isolate said leaks till found.

First visit they called a company to find leaks in back yard ($320 paid to American Leak plus $212.50 S.Waters for standing there while American Leak did their job finding the leaks), would have been fine had they accomplished the tasks. Cleaned existing cutoff valve but did not have correct handle to replace (old handle rusted and broke off), said would be back with correct handle, never have. Contacted them to alert them that we still have meter spinning at good clip even when all water turned off, said would have to bring out leak detection people once again and start from scratch. Second visit, second charges $625 in total and everything supposed to be fixed now. Would have been no problem if this was the case but...handle never replaced (don't have one that is functional currently even though we paid) meter still running so leaks not resolved, very frustrated so wrote a letter to owner/manager with no reply.

I am a reasonable person, I did not withhold payment as leverage I paid first and hoped to resolve in time which we have not. I don't normally write reviews or complain publicly but as I have been ignored and it irritates me to look at my communication, cancelled checks and water bills I decided to warn potential future clients.

I hope for their sakes it is not a precursor of problems to come but I personally would not use them again.
