7/13/65 - 7/18/68: Served in the United States Navy Boiler (ages 17-21).

1969 - Joined Plumbers Local Union #2 for a five-year apprenticeship (1969-1974) with 10,000 hours of training.

I obtained five certificates of completion, one for each year, in areas such as code, theory, welding, blueprint reading, gas piping, and drainage.

I passed federal testing to become a Stationary Engineer, qualified to work on air conditioning plants and high-pressure steam (125#).

In 1981, I finished a course offered by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers on low-pressure boilers and unfired pressure vessels at Oklahoma University (Federal Boiler Inspector and Unfired Pressure Vessel Inspector) for the U.S. government.

In 1982, I obtained my Master Plumber's License and continued my education with technical courses, including roofing inspection and various welding classes from Nassau Research.

In 1982, I launched my own plumbing business, specializing in plumbing, hydronic heating, gas fitting, and drain cleaning.
