Founded in 1973 as Steven A. Roberts Plumbing & Heating, SR Mechanical, Inc. began its journey in residential plumbing and heating.

The company initially operated mainly in Central Utah.

In the early 1980s, the company expanded its services to include commercial plumbing and heating across the state.

In 2001, the company chose to concentrate solely on commercial projects and rebranded as S.R. Mechanical, Inc. for better marketing.
