I reached out to S.P Beagle to switch from an older hot water heater to a tankless system. From setting up the appointment with Karina in the office, to my meeting with Sage, to Christion and his crew completing the project my experience has been amazing with this company. I had received a quote from another local plumbing company that was almost double the cost!! It is extremely refreshing to work with such honest, reliable and knowledgeable people. Also wanted to give a shout-out to Jade in the office for talking me through the whole process and answering my million questions. Hands down the best plumbing company in the South Bay!!

I had a leak in my bathroom and no clue where it was coming from, I called SP Beagle to come diagnose it and they were there within the time frame they provided me with. They also were able to diagnose the issue immediately, and fix it right away. I've never had such great service and even calling the office was a breeze. Such nice people, and listened to all my concerns. Pricing was great in comparison to other plumbers I've worked with. They will be my go to plumbing company any time I need work done.

I have used this plumbing company a couple of times before and thought they did a satisfactory job, no complaints. However, after we had a couple of recent heavy rain storms, we experienced some flooding on the north side of our property. As a stop-gap measure, we used some utility pumps to keep the water at bay and away from the foundation of our house. When I called SP Beagle, I spoke to ""Corina"" and explained the situation. Unfortunately, she was curt and inpatient on the phone while asking me some questions as to what type of pumps we were using. She then put me in touch with ""Jade"" and she also sounded a bit inpatient over the phone. I offered to send her a video I took on my phone of the flooding we were having, which I did. She never called me back even though she said she would call me right back, so I called her. She said she would have to have the owner call. After more than several hours, the owner ""Sage"" called and said he saw the video I sent and said that installing a sump pump is very involved. I asked if I could make an appointment for him or someone from his company to come out. He said, ""It would be me."" I said, ""Can we make an appointment?"" He said, ""I'll have the girls call you, they keep my schedule."" After not hearing back from either Corina or Jade, I called back the following day and spoke to Jade who said, ""Just so you know, this will cost thousands upon thousands of dollars."" (I'm not sure how she knew that, because no one from SP Beagle had even come out to our house to assess the situation.) I said, ""Well, obviously we need to fix the situation. Sage said to go through you to set up an appointment for him to come out."" Jade said, ""Well, he's out and about right now. I'll give you a call later but it will probably be several hours."" Well, unfortunately, I never received a call back from SP Beagle and it's been well over a week. Businesses that have staff answering the phone that are rude and inpatient and represent they will call you back and then don't is beyond unprofessional. I don't recommend this plumbing company. They ended up adding to the stress we were already experiencing with our flooding situation and should have been more pleasant and professional over the phone. More importantly, they should have called me back even if it was to say, ""We're sorry, but Sage recommends you call another plumber as we aren't in a position to set up an appointment with you right now and take on your job."" What I want in a plumbing company is a company that will come alongside and help, especially in an urgent situation. And if they can't help, to recommend calling another plumbing company or suggest some other option. SP Beagle has failed on this front. They ended up stringing me along and didn't have the decency of a business practice of at least calling me back and letting me know they didn't want to take on my job. Again, SP Beagle Plumbing didn't have our back and presumed we didn't have the budget to pay for their services is the only thing I can figure out and just decided to not even bother coming out to the house to assess the situation and give us an estimate. I've since moved on to a very highly recommended plumber that treated me as a valued customer from the outset and was very willing to come out and resolve our flooding situation. Don't ever do business with a company that doesn't treat you with the respect you deserve. Ghosting customers doesn't beget you more customers! It just gets you a bad reputation.

We called them because of a leak where water was dripping very quickly through the ceiling from a leak above. They called to say the techs were coming (right at beginning of window) and they resolved the issue quickly for a VERY reasonable price.

Outstanding! I've lived my entire life in the South Bay, and the last 33 years in El Porto. The responsiveness and professionalism by SPBP has been amazing, Definitely 5+ plus !!!

Pros - Sage, receptionist, was initially pleasant on the phone. They provided me a time and materials based quote. They were able to get me in the next day which is what I requested. The job was small, estimated 1-2 hours and completed it in that time frame.

Cons - The technician showed up later in the 2 hour window, spent 5 minutes on site, then left for a 1 1/2 lunch. He returned and started the repair and finished in 1 hour and 1/2. I blocked out 4 hours in my schedule to deal with him, but with the delay I told the repair tech that I had conference calls scheduled in the afternoon that I couldn't escort him out. I instructed him to finish the job and I would call the office and provide my credit card information. He said it was company policy for the tech to collect payment. I said that due to the delays, I work from home and have calls I need to take. I gave him $20 and said, don't worry, I will call the office and pay. I finished my call and called the office to pay. They gave me a price and I asked for a breakdown of the charges/see the invoice. Between Sage and what i presume is the owner was told how inconsiderate I was not to pay the technician, that I was rude not to escort out the contractor, that I didn't need to see the invoice, I should just pay. They were very rude and unprofessional to say the least. They begrudgingly sent me the invoice which I promptly paid. There was absolutely no excuse for their attitude, raised voices and inability to see my perspective and accept a credit card payment over the phone.

Amazing amazing amazing. From past experience, I have been gouged by plumbers more than once (even ones I crossed referenced on Yelp/ Google AND NextDoor! ).

When another plumber couldn't unblock my sewer line, he quoted me $3,500 to bring in a camera and hydro-jet.

At $3,500, I wanted to make sure to do my homework and asked Beagle for another quote. I explained my situation to Jade at Beagle and she sent the right guy! Our clog was definitely no joke but Juan was able to address the issue with a camera and a snake. The invoice - $220!!!

We are having Juan come back to do a full plumbing assessment for us since we don't trust our contractor did a good job w the plumbing. Beagle has certainly earned my future business with their honesty and fair pricing.

We've used SP Beagle for years, all leaks, clogs, and a tankless water heater. They're quick to communicate, honest, great rates, and professional/knowledgeable staff.

They installed a Flo by Moen valve. It started leaking. I called them to come out to fix it. The plumber blamed my gardener for hitting it - said this was causing it to leak. I talked to my gardener, who denied this, but who said he'd nonetheless be very careful going forward. It started leaking again. I called again. They fixed it. This happened a few times. Their 'fixes' never stopped the leaking. I searched the internet and didn't find anyone else reporting leaks from this device, so I think it's a bad installation. I called them again and they said it's out of warranty, even though it has been leaking the whole time. They said I had PVC piping? But I'm unaware of anything like that - don't see any now or in the pre-pictures that they required. They said someone else worked on it? That's not correct either. It seems like they're just looking for excuses not to stand behind their work. In summary, this is not a plumbing company I would call for anything.

Our water heater pilot went out and we couldn't get it to light again. We called another plumbing company and after pressing the igniter a couple times and then declared that we needed a new water heater. We wanted a second opinion and SP Beagle Plumbing was recommended by a friend.

The plumber who came out was friendly and worked fast. He not only was able to light our pilot, but he also advised us on an estimate of when he thought we should replace the unit based on the condition of the current water heater.
