S.O.S. has been servicing our Navien tankless water heater for several years. Last summer it would occasionally stop working and display an error code. S.O.S. came out and replaced a part and the unit seemed to be better for a while but would still occasionally shut down and display an error code. However, it would work again if reset. Recently, it shut down several times a day and new error codes came up. S.O.S. came out again and replaced another part, but the problem persisted. S.O.S. advised that the pressure in our gas line was insufficient, so we called the gas company to check it. The gas company technician told us the pressure was fine. Finally, last week S.O.S. determined that the heat exchanger was bad and obtained a new one from the manufacturer because it was still under warranty. S.O.S. installed the new heat exchanger, told us the unit was like new, and charged $600 in labor. The next day, the unit stopped working entirely. No hot water again. When we called S.O.S. to come out and take a look, he said he was booked for the entire week and we should find another technician. We are extremely disappointed that a Navien certified technician does not stand behind his work. We paid $600 and received zero value.

I had a very unprofessional experience with Blaine. He installed a back flow valve at my commercial business. Later on, I found out that he installed the part backwards. I had to have a yearly inspection for this system by a plumbing inspector. We called Blaine about the error and was trying to get his assistance about the error. He immediately Went Crazy over the phone cussing at the inspector and refused to even listen to the information of error. I had to have another plumber come out to correct it at MY EXPENSE. It was a mistake of his and he did not back up his work mistake. Use caution using this person or better to find a reputable plumber.

My bathroom shower faucet was leaking and SOS Plumbing was referred by Home Depot for my service. Blaine arrived ahead of time, and had booties on all the time while working inside my house. He properly addressed the problems and let me choose the options for repair either going to a cheap route or having the whole unit replaced with a brand new one. Blaine was proficient at his job; and apart from the hired service, he spent extra times replacing the rusty cap of the AC overflow pipe located at the bathroom ceiling with a new one, and in addition, he sawed off the lengthy metal screws which hold the position of the toilet bowl, fastened the screws with additional nuts and finally covered the metal ends with spherical caps to further completing and enhancing what's already there. Those times and efforts were supplementarily spent per my request, and, to my delight, all those works rendered were free of charge --- services provided as a courtesy!
Blaine was amiable; he also provided instructive information to my curiosity, and wanted to make sure that I was happy with his service. Should I have further problem regarding plumbing issues, I would have no second thought but to firstly call SOS for the rescue!

Blaine is a very very responsible kindhearted gentleman!!! No matter whenever I texted to or called him, he always responded to my questions and requests with detailed information and directions!!! Even when he was out of the country...he still responded as most helpful ways as he could!!! Blaine is a very knowledgeable plumber per my personal experiences!!! I'll always call him or refer him to my friends and families because I knew I can always trust his integrity, count on his knowledge and skills!!!

I ordered two toilets from Home Depot and had them shipped. I put in a request for an installer at the local Home Depot. Blaine called on the phone within one minute of the Home Depot posting. He had the lowest price from those who provided a price in their emails. When the toilets arrived, I sent him a text message at 8:30 that night and he immediately replied with a proposed time. When he got here (on time) he went beyond the call of duty. He was there to simply install two toilets and haul off the old ones. The toilets had been delivered by Home Depot's delivery service the day before. When he opened the first box, the toilet was found to be shattered. He drove me over to the local Home Depot, where they replaced the toilet with one they had in stock. Blaine did all the muscle work at the store. We went back to the house and Blaine finished the installation. He did not charge me for the extra time he had to spend. From now on SOS Plumbing Company is going to get all my plumbing and related installation work.

I thought it was lovely that he even put booties over his shoes to protect our floors even though we didn't ask him to. He was able to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly. I'm leaving this review a year after Blaine fixed my plumbing problem. A drain problem on a 30 Y old pipe. I'm an engineer and picky as an engineer can be and when I saw what Blaine did I was extremely surprised by the quality of his job securing the pipes behind the wall where no one bother to check. In addition to the quality of his technical service, he is extremely punctual. I can't stand companies who don't keep up their promise on timing. And lastly the price is very reasonable. I do recommend this company for any plumbing project.

DO NOT USE!!!! Blaine said he had experience with hooking up water and ice line, however immediately after leaving our house, water is leaking everywhere. Upon calling and asking him if he can come fix it, he begins to say he does not have experience doing this and that he is a plumber. When I asked him if he has done any of these types of jobs before he says that he does not like my line of questioning. When I say that we paid him for a service and that we are just inquiring if he has done this before, he proceeds to scream at me and call me multiple horrific obscenities, one in particular that you should never call a woman that starts with a C. We don't understand as he walked away with our $139 and yet there is water all over the floor and he lied about what he is capable of doing. If I could give a zero, I would.

After arriving home on New Year's Eve evening to find major water damage and our ceiling still leaking from a fire sprinkler valve rupture, we started dialing the plumbers on Yelp in our area. On the 3rd try, we found Blaine with SOS Plumbing willing to come out to our house. Blaine arrived very quickly, immediately diagnosed the issue and took corrective action to turn off the water and minimize further damage. Blaine was very friendly, professional and helpful during a very anxious time for our family. When I followed up to request an invoice, Blaine was extremely responsive and even asked how we were doing. We will definitely use SOS for our plumbing needs in the future based on their customer service and experience.

In summary, SOS is a responsible, honest, and professional services company. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a good plumber!

Xmas morning 7:45am my garage has a puddle of water and I have no hot water. Desperate I called SOS Plumbing and to my surprise Blaine answered. Everything is closed on Xmas day so he agrees to meet me the next day, Saturday at 8:30am. Blaine arrives at 8:25am. Great guy, fair, honest and does great work. By the afternoon garage is clean and I have a new hot water tank installed. Blaine is a good man and I am very pleased to recommend him to any one who needs a good plumber. Blaine thanks for taking care of me!
