In 7 years since my house was finished, we went thru 2 Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters. They are prone to leaks, and no one wants to attempt to fix them. I called several plumbers that have been recently mentioned, but no one would even replace them with new. Finally found a neighborhood Plumber. Can within an hour of calling him, told me of a better brand, came the following afternoon with his son, corrected some bad plumbing and installed the heater within a few hours. I highly recommend him.

I was looking for a Split system for my vacation home. I received several quotes. While Seamus was not the cheapest, I felt comfortable with his explanation of the systems, and his knowledge of the technology. He and his son did a great job, finishing the install in two days ( i had 6 heads and two units). They cleaned up after themselves, and after they were done, you would never know they were there. I will be using Seamus in the future for other work i need done. I would recommend them to my friends without hesitation.

My wife and I built our home 12 years ago and had a zoned hot water heating system installed at that time. Our budget did not allow the aditional cost to add the duct work for central air. Last year we finally decided it was time and did due diligence for prices. Mr O'Hara was right in the middle of our quotes but he took the time to explain every aspect of the installation and his reasoning made perfect sense. Our ranch home was done in one day. We were in need of someone to install a ductless mini split air conditioner/heating system before the start of the bad winter that is predicted for the Poconos. We first went to a big box retailer to get a quote. The quote was through the roof. A friend recommended S.J. O'Hara Inc. and it turned out to be the best thing ever. Mr. O'Hara or Seamus as he prefers to be called presented us with a more than reasonable quote. He was very professional and installed our system within a week's time. The quality of the work was great and he and his son cleaned up after themselves. They even went above and beyond by helping us to reposition our carpet. Before he left, Seamus gave us a tutorial and made sure we understood how use our new unit.
We have already recommended Seamus to our neighbors and we recommend him to anyone else who is looking for an professional mechanical contractor to handle their home heating, plumbing or air conditioning projects.

Mr. O'Hara was friendly, on time and really on point with price. We did our homework with getting bids on a new heat pump system. Had to replace condenser, line set and indoor air handler unit as we had old R-22 that is being fazed out. Removed old system and some other equipment that had been replaced in the past with no questions asked. They picked up all their trash and left with everything working as it should well before they said they would be done. Thank you to you and your son for the great job done.

If you are looking for a Heat & AC Company you have found the Company for the job. Seamus is the owner of the company and is on hand from the time we met, during the installation and the training on the equipment. I had 4 Ductless AC/Heat Units installed. With that I received a 12 Year Warranty from Fujitsu since S.J. is one of their preferred partners. I din't go with S.J. for the price (They Were The Best) but for the trust and Gut Feeling I had in Seamus. In the end I not only have a great system, clean installation done the right way but I have piece of mind knowing if I have any issue Seamus / S.J. will assist. And a 12 year Warranty does not help. Also helps that my Wife was very happy with the special request she needed done.
