I work in community association management and any time I need anything done I know I can count on S&D Prime Maintenance (or Swish & Rub!). They are my go to for any sort of maintenance work or repairs and even large project. If I'm not sure if they can do something, I ask and they always give me an honest answer. I constantly recommend them to my co-workers and really anyone who asks. The work is fairly priced and is always done in a timely manner. They also stand behind all of their work. If there are any issues they will remedy them just as efficiently. Honestly, cannot speak highly enough of this company.

My 15 year old air conditioner went out in my condo. Air conditioners are on roof. Juan , service man, diagnosed problem pretty quickly and ordered parts. Unfortunately it was on a weekend so parts wouldn't come in until Monday. Office told me they would install on Tuesday. By 2:30 pm ac was repaired and my condo was cooling down. Juan was very professional. It only took him a little over an hour (was paying by hour) to replace parts. Also, office staff was great. There was a small issue with delivery of parts to them, but they took care of the problem quickly and professionally.

The condo management uses S & D for different repairs and maintenance and are also happy with their work. I highly recommend!

I rarely leave reviews but S&D did such a great job on my bathroom remodel. I was so happy with their services. They were on time, very clean, professional, and their work was quick and the quality was amazing! I would highly recommend their services to anyone and they will be my only place I call for services on my home.

I have used S&D Prime first for steam rug cleaning services. The first time we used their service was after our dog, who had been skunk sprayed, came in the house.... you can imagine the rest. They were able to completely remove the smell from our carpets. My heroes! Recently, I realized they had branched out to plumbing and other home repairs. I have had plumbing, electric, sump pump installation, and custom carpentry for stair railing. I have always been more than satisfied and highly recommend.

Now they are trying to charge an additional amount that was not part of the original signed agreement.
Over $500!!!

Beware of Joe. Get everything in writing from him and do not trust a word he says. At first he seems to be very kind but once you sign, he will make different claims about the work to be done and the price. Again, his name is Joe.

Please please save yourself the headache of dealing with this company.

One additional note. Please check with the better business bureau BBB before deciding to sign a contract with this company. Call the BBB.

Shortly after posting the BBB comments, the company finally responded. They did not address my concerns directly but rather just submitted the bill for the additional money they are seeking.

Still the owner has made no attempt to contact me after having left several messages asking him to call me back.

Despite some communication issues in getting the actual appointment scheduled and getting the quote, the work performed is the most important at the end of the day. And our handyman, Tom, was fantastic. I had a random assortment of 8 relatively minor items that needed to be done all at once. He arrived prepared and friendly, and was finished in 2 hours flat! That included a spontaneous run to the hardware store! All work done was top-notch quality. Highly recommend S&D.

S&D has been in business for over 35 years, and we think we know why. They totally ""get"" customer service when so many companies don't seem to.

I hired Prime maintenance to hook up my new apron kitchen sink and dishwasher. The dishwasher did not get hooked up and the two gentlemen that came ended up going to Home Depot 3 times and the short time they were at my condo. They kept buying the wrong size pipes or forgetting an item they needed. When they finally finished with the pipes I told them that they were not in City compliance. I called Joe and told him that they were not in code and he came to look at it and said he would order some metal pipes that would fix the issue. That was 33 days ago. Joe never called me back so I finally had to call myself. I spent $511 for the small amount of work to be done and the amount of time but took them to go to Home Depot 3 times. Now they told me over the phone that they would be back in a week or two and then I would have to pay them at least another $300 because it's my fault for wanting an apron sink so they have to cut a hole in the wall and lower the brass pipe. If they had sent a real plumber the first time this would all have been finished. I called Joe yesterday morning two matter when we find out when they're coming back but I think I deserve a refund for taking 33 days to come back and they didn't do anything the second time. He tried telling me that had to have the water shut off and I told him it was another unit. I told him if I called City Hall to come and look at it their plumber could lose his license. I went three weeks without water in my kitchen while they were installing my cabinets. I called S&D because they take care of our property and have to pay him $75 to turn off the water so I thought I would give them a try. Big mistake. A plumber does not leave a job until it's complete. I can't believe two plumbers on two separate occasions one 33 days ago and one 2 days ago and after all this time waiting they have to cut open my wall and want more money. This is beyond ridiculous.

Had an scheduled interview. Was there on time. Receptionist asked for my drivers license (stated) we like to put a ""face"" to applicants. Filled out application, receptionist said, let me see if Marie(interviewer) is busy. Mind you I had an appointment, waited to be interviewed for the position for the receptionist to come back to say, I'm sorry there's been an emergency with the bad weather we been having she's not going to be able to interview. She also stated she will phone you tomorrow at 11:00am(verified my telephone number) for a telephone interview. I went in on Wednesday 5/3. I waited on 5/4 for an hour for her to call. Guess what I'm still waiting. I don't like to play the race card but I felt from very beginning taking a copy of my id was unusual and I'm there in the office. I truly believe... They were screening your/my color I believed they flagged me for my race(African-American). I was dressed professionally, acquired the job skills but I guess I wasn't ""white enough"" very disappointed and ashamed that humans still proceed to behave this way. I wouldn't recommend their service to a roach!
