My mother's bathroom sink was leaking so l found this place on Yelp around 12:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday. The man on the phone was extraordinarily kind and so professional! The two gentleman Ryan and Matt, who came to the house to do the repair were also kind, friendly, courteous, and professional. By 4:30 they were done. I cannot recommend this company enough! They made us feel like we were their top priority that day. Their work was quick, efficient, and well done. My mother is not an easy woman to please, but she had zero complaints!

My water heater went out and needed to be inspected. This was the first company to call me back. They came out quickly and said I needed a new one. The price they quoted me was roughly double what I had anticipated so I declined and they were happy to take my $50 for 10 minutes of their time. Other plumbers called throughout the rest of the day and not one came close to the inflated prices these people had. I got the job done with the same exact water heater they offered for half the price by a company with the same letters, but reversed. The only company I ever dealt with that was this criminal was ABC.

S&J plumbing, Jacob and his team, have been excellent to work with throughout the multiple visits they've had to make to our home for sewer flooding and drilling and installing a new water spigot. They have great customer service and respect, were helpful in assessing our issues and providing us with solution options that we were comfortable with. They were upfront with solutions and costs and they did not start work until they had exactly what equipment they needed to fix our plumbing problem. You could tell they cared and wanted to do the job right. The cost seemed expensive but reasonable given what work needed to be done. I will continue using them for further plumbing work and recommend to our neighbors and those in their service area when choosing a plumber.

We called S&J for a second opinion after initially having ABC out when we had water back up into our basement. ABC gave us a quote for 2 options both over $12000.. Ryan from S&J came and did his own video inspection of the pipes and showed us that the work recommended by ABC was not necessary and there was a much simpler fix. We are very happy we got a second opinion and we're happy with the quick turnaround and the way everything was clearly explained to us. They even gave us an estimate if we chose to do what ABC recommended and it was significantly less than the ABC quote. We will continue to use S&J for any issues in the future.

My sump pump stopped working and I was terrified of a big mess until I reached these guys. A technician named Tom Iversen came out within 1 hour and replaced my ejector pump and put in a battery backup system in case of power outage. The pricing was reasonable and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs. Ask for Tom Iversen and you will not be disappointed. S&J Plumbing was quick and responsive to help us with our partial flooding in our basement. The managers Joe & Krista were so patient, helpful, and resourceful - they provided us with a referral to remove the water that accumulated in our basement through Chicago Water & Fire Restoration and they got on the job immediately, same day (CWF was also professional and reliable). Kyle helped us with the split pipes the next morning and he was super professional, provided options of how to proceed with pricing, worked quickly and efficiently, was on time, and he was great with our dogs.
