Called 8:00 PM 1.3.17, a cold night. Heat wasn't working. Were told we'd have someone come by within 2 hours to check on a furnace. No one showed for roughly 2.5 hours. We called a few numbers and were told no one could make it out, so sorry. No call to inform us, no explanation, just a cancel nearly 3 hours later on a cold cold night without the courtesy of a phone call to explain why.

Today is the third time I've used Ruth Plumbing. Ephrem is on my speed dial now: Consistently better rates and very professional work and service. I sincerely appreciate the extra effort they take to keep my house clean too. They lay down blankets and use disposable booties in your house to avoid tracking dirt in and clean up afterwards. Best plumbers in DC, IMHO.

Great work!! Ephrem is an amazing plumber & HVAC man. He come out to our house back in July in middle of the night and fixed our AC unit. We was so great that we called him again for major plumbing issues in our bathroom. The man works like a charm without digging deep in your pockets.

I had a terrible experience with them diagnosing my HVAC yesterday! In addition to the language barrier making it extremely difficult for the service representative to follow my directions regarding entry into my condo building and unit, he also tried to charge $945 for a leak test that most other vendors charge $200-300 for. Total and complete waste of my $95 diagnostic fee!

I used Ruth plumbing for leakage of faucet. It was emergent situation since my condo was already on the market for sale. I called for help around 9pm and the guy came over around 10:30p (thank god somebody can come over that fast without making an appointment).The tech then gave right diagnosis and provide option to either change the entire faucet or replace a part. The price was so reasonable for this ""emergent service"" that I just decided to go for a brand new faucet. He was so efficient and even friendly to the customer. I will definitely use Ruth Plumbing service in the future for any issues they provide. Believe me, most plumbing/HVAC/handyman service companies rip you off, which is why I fix and install things myself.

I called Ruth Plumbing when my A/C went out at 8 PM in 95 degree heat and the tech showed up within an hour. Luckily, the problem was a quick fix and was remedied within 20 minutes. The quick and efficient service was great and I would recommend to anyone in an HVAC emergency!

Hello fellow helpers. Last Sunday I turned on my CAC for the first time since last year and wouldn't you know...it wouldn't stay on...and on the hottest day of the year thus far! So I made a few calls and no one could come out the next day which I preferred since I was off from work....no one that is except Efram!! I also liked that he was licensed in DC (since I live and work in DC, I try to hire DC based businesses first) and a master plumber!! He came out the next day but couldn't fix the problem right away...so he ordered a part and came back 3 days later...but the CAC still wouldn't work properly so he came back a third time yesterday along with another HVAC specialist and together they fixed the problem! Even with the extra time and outside consultation, Efram didn't charge me more than the original quote. Efram was very thorough and took his time until the problem was resolved. He worked around my schedule and wore booties to protect my floors. I would use him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a HVAC guy!
