Had a shower valve that broke - water leaking everywhere despite my shutting off the supply. This company was over in about 15-20 minutes and was able to take some time to figure out why, fix the broken valve, and give me a heads up on some future fixes that I may encounter (since I couldn't spend the money today). Overall, reasonably priced.

I had my flue pipes rerouted and graded properly. Prior to the fix, the pipes were sagging, and were angled incorrectly thus retaining water. This resulted in my furnace shutting down during cold temperatures. So far, it's been over a week since Mr. E rerouted and properly graded the pipes. I have noticed significant improvement in the efficiency of my furnace. What I equally appreciated from this company, besides their good work, is their professionalism and courtesy. Mr. E was respectful, fair, patient and answered all my questions.

We've had Ephrem from Ruth Plumbing replace two water heaters, one in our DC rowhouse and another in our previous Arlington condo. The rowhouse water heater replacement also involved a bunch of plumbing work in order to install a washer/dryer in the adjacent closet. Ephrem was easy to work with, we felt the prices quoted were fair, and we've been consistently happy with the results.

Called 8:00 PM 1.3.17, a cold night. Heat wasn't working. Were told we'd have someone come by within 2 hours to check on a furnace. No one showed for roughly 2.5 hours. We called a few numbers and were told no one could make it out, so sorry. No call to inform us, no explanation, just a cancel nearly 3 hours later on a cold cold night without the courtesy of a phone call to explain why.

Today is the third time I've used Ruth Plumbing. Ephrem is on my speed dial now: Consistently better rates and very professional work and service. I sincerely appreciate the extra effort they take to keep my house clean too. They lay down blankets and use disposable booties in your house to avoid tracking dirt in and clean up afterwards. Best plumbers in DC, IMHO.

Great work!! Ephrem is an amazing plumber & HVAC man. He come out to our house back in July in middle of the night and fixed our AC unit. We was so great that we called him again for major plumbing issues in our bathroom. The man works like a charm without digging deep in your pockets.

I had a terrible experience with them diagnosing my HVAC yesterday! In addition to the language barrier making it extremely difficult for the service representative to follow my directions regarding entry into my condo building and unit, he also tried to charge $945 for a leak test that most other vendors charge $200-300 for. Total and complete waste of my $95 diagnostic fee!
