Our water heater needed to be replaced, after doing some online research and getting couple of quotes I decided to go with Russo Brothers and I do not regret my decision! They were able to accommodate my appointment the next morning, price was very reasonable, especially compared to other local business and Home Depot. Joey was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and completed the job in good time. I will call Russo Brothers for future plumbing needs for sure.

Called in a request for service on Friday or Saturday after they had closed for the weekend. By noon on Monday, received a return phone call, and within an hour, they were at my residence. Fixed two items rather efficiently, and were super friendly and courteous. Reasonably priced. Absolutely will use for all future plumbing needs.

Pricing for repair very high - $400 negotiated to $350. Comment was ""we bill by the job, not the time"". Quoted time at $150/hr in 1/2 hour increments. With those numbers, bill should have have been in the neighborhood of $250.

Repair was for a 3/8"" hole in galvanized steel drain pipe coming from kitchen sink and dishwasher. Total time on site - 70 minutes. Plumber removed, via reciprocating saw, 2ft pipe length emerging from basement ceiling going into 4"" drain - little to no obstructions. Repair was 2 neoprene sleeves connecting PVC at 4"" end and kitchen pipe start.

Steve, the owner (I presume) very professional during the entire conversation. We agreed to disagree. IMO, for this type of repair, there should be a quote up front, and it should be time and materials.

I cannot recommend Russo Brothers.

Russo Brothers are day light robbers . I called them because they were recommending to me by the manufacturer of my heating equipment . I had to replace a hot water heater which needed to be replaced under warranty . I already had the replacement which is identical to the one in place with four simple connections , two at the top and two at the bottom . The receptionist Joanne was very nice and sent me a technician in the same afternoon . He came and looked at the work and after taking several photos and talking to his manager came back with a quote of $4950 !! just for labor . I asked him for breakdown which he did not . He is supposed also to replace an expansion tank ( $42 in Home depot and about 30 minutes of labor ), and an unnecessary replacement of a relief valve ( $35 in Home Depot and about one hour labor ) .

At the normal rate 0f $125 per hour ( my son who is an emergency room physician , gets about $150 per hour ) , these guys were charging me for nearly 38 hours of labor which is a whole week . The whole thing was completed by another very experienced and qualified plumber for $750 in less than half day .

I am not sure how these people stay in business . They are a total disgrace to the plumbing profession .

One person, Juan, came to see the mold in my unit and when he saw the mold in the toilet bowl said he needed to refer it to his boss, Steve. Steve showed up about an hour later and he told me the only time he'd see similar conditions is when the toilet bowl wasn't cleaned, which clearly mine was. He agreed to give me a copy of his report which he did not and then he reported to the landlord that the condition was due to improper cleaning!

Since he is a ""plumber"" I'd give him a pass but he gave a bogus report since he saw that clearly the bathroom was well maintained and the ONLY issue was the black mold that keeps reforming on the waterline of the toilet.

I was very pleased with Russo Brothers. I called them on 5/29/18 and left a message in the afternoon. I received a return call the next morning and they were able to have someone out that afternoon. Wilson arrived on time and fixed my problem quickly. The bill was quite reasonable. They'll definitely be my first call the next time I have a problem!

It is encouraging to see that there are companies that stand behind their products and services. During a routine plumbing repair an unfortunate event caused a minor repair to become a major repair. Russo Brothers stood behind their service and rectified the problem at no additional expense to me. The problem was solved and the job exceeded my expedition. Customer service is not easy to find these days but Russo Brothers Plumbing rose to the task. Thank you Russo Brothers.
