My furnace quit on Thursday morning, and I called Russo Bros. for service. They had nothing available until Saturday. It was cool outside but not cold, so I agreed. They gave me a window of 10am - 2 pm. At 2 pm on Saturday, I called to see when the technician would arrive and was told he is running late. He arrived at 4:30, sat in his truck for 15 minutes, and then spoke to someone on his phone at my front door for another 5 minutes before he excused himself and finally entered my house. (So much for ""we offer same day service and a precise appointment window"").

He diagnosed the problem rather quickly. I needed a new gas valve, but he didn't have one of that type in his truck or back at the shop. (So much for ""with fully stocked trucks, most problems are resolved in a single visit""). He told me they only stock what they sell. I wish I had been told that on Thursday! He began to tell me they would order a gas valve on Monday, But, since the temperature in the house had fallen to an uncomfortable level, I said I'll find a firm that has one in stock.

Antonio was incredible. Super personable and answered all my questions regarding my HVAC system (new home buyer). He was able to repair my AC issue very quickly too. My kitchen sink was plugged. I called Russo Bros. I am very unhappy with Russo Bros. First the worker came late, he was sent to the wrong address, didn't have the pipes to finish the job, he charged me $450 for unplugged the kitchen sink, 1/2 hour work. Never will use them again.

AC broke on Friday, 7/19. Called company I always use and still have not called me back. Found Russo Bros., called at 4:14pm on 7/19 and they sent a service tech at 8:00am 7/20. He told me the issue, called the installation tech who came out on Sunday, 7/21. He explained all the options and we went with the one he recommended. Said he would fit us in since my husband has severe allergies. On Wednesday, 7/24, a 3 man crew, led by Keenan Tuitt arrived at 9am and worked until 10pm, making sure the system was working and cooling properly. This 3 man crew were the nicest and most polite workers I have ever met. The were neat, efficient, cleaned up everything and took away all the old units. I am so happy that I found Russo Bros. and will only use them. Great experience and were so kind to the issue we were having.

They came to install my new AC unit promptly and did a great job! The men were polite, courteous and diligent. They were all hard workers and respected my home with floor protector sheets so I had no dirt in my house from the going ins and outs. I'm very satisfied.

I called Russo Brothers for a estimate to replace my tankless hot water heater. The technician that came was very courteous and professional. But after looking at my situation, advised me I needed to replace my gas line from 3/4"" to 1"" for the tankless to function properly. That would be from the garage to the basement. My tankless now has been working fine until the last few months and the unit is 16 years old!
I already have a Rinnai tankless heater and wanted to have a similar type, which is non condensing. The condensing type is more energy efficient but more expensive to maintain. The difference in price for the condensing vs non condensing isn't worth the added maintenance it would need, which would offset the dollar savings.
The catch is, they conveniently don't offer a non condensing unit. Plus you need additional venting and pumps to accommodate the condensing unit.
When I asked for a price the technician said around $9000! I thought he misspoke but said he would ask his manager if they could do better and would email me the estimate. Well, when I received the estimate, the price ballooned to $13,250!!! Plus another $1000 to have a maintenance service annual contract! For a hot water heater?
When I called them back for an explanation in price difference, the manager returned my call and told me everything the technician did, but somehow the price jumped up an additional $4250. They think this is like monopoly money being played with, where actually it's taking advantage of saying you need extra work at exhorporant prices.
I can get an entire HVAC system replaced for that kind of money! Totally inappropriate and deceiving. Ripoff!
