I have used Russell Plumbing (a one-man shop, his name is Ray) on numerous occasions and he has always been quite chatty and a bit sloppy, but always got the job done. The most recent occasion, however, was awful. He did not provide a time when I made the appointment--He simply said he would be there in the morning. He eventually showed up close to 10 am. He complained the entire time while he worked and a couple of days later, I discovered there was an issue with the work he had done. When I contacted him about the issue, he was extremely unprofessional and hung up on me. When he finally called back, he said he would come out to fix the issue and I made an appointment and forced him to give me a time frame. He did not show up to the appointment, and when I called to confront him, he said he had forgotten and that he was having problems with his van and wasn't sure when it would be fixed. About a week and a half later, he finally came to fix the issue (only due to my insistence, as he did not follow up) and was not friendly or apologetic. I will never use Russell Plumbing again, as I am sure there are some professional, courteous plumbers out there who won't treat me like dirt.
