I have used Russell's for over 14 years now for plumbing issues that I cannot fix as a homeowner or have the time or equipment for. They will never do or sell you anything you don't need; unlike some of the other outfits out there. I discovered that I had a hot water slab leak in my kitchen floor last night. Needless to say I did not sleep very well wondering what is was going to take to solve the issue or how much time and money chasing it. I called Russell's in the a.m. and Mason showed up within an hour. Within 4 hours the concrete/tile floor had a small area jackhammered out, the copper pipe repaired, and the concrete replaced; all at a fair price for a job like this.

Use these guys with confidence. Awesome.

Even after five years....
Consistency with Russell Plumbing is still thick and good like Granny's Grits and fried chicken on a Sunday afternoon...

Ole Mr. Tree root is thirsty... (hellooooooo California drought) and my tree is tappin my sewer line for a drink.....""Bad root, bad root.. you are making my shower into a swimming pool""...

Like a Super Hero in the night.... (I had to make an after hours call) Chris was on his way (at my house in less than 20 minutes.....and saved the day.....cleared the line...
and tucked us all into bed that night..... (kidding)

Ain't no thing but a good fried chicken wang from Granny and cleared sewer lines from Russell's Plumbing.... now that is what I call a happy ending to a nasty backed up situation...

Wow. Sorry others did not have such a good experience as myself. I was trying to locate my clean out and after hours of digging, I called Russell's. I told my story to the woman that answered the phone and she was able to send someone out. ""Rick"" shows up a couple hours later. Up on the roof, sends camera down my pipe, found clean out. All was good, plus I asked a couple additional plumbing questions.
This all started after I called Bill Howe Plumbing and ""Jimmy"" came out and could not check my pipes, could not find clean out. Blah, Blah, Blah. :-(

I chose Russel Plumbing because of my dad, he always said they do a 20 minute call ahead of time and he's had no problems with them. So on Monday I called and told them about my (dad's) plumbing problem at his apartments half an hour away, and they said they would be there Friday between 12 and 4. So I went over there a bit early to ensure that we meet up. I waited all day, nothing. I called them after 4 and I told them I waited all day since noon and they said that they had no previous information about me or the call I had placed on Monday and that they could schedule another plumber to come out Monday or Tuesday. After what I feel was a day (really, a week to re-schedule) thoroughly wasted for nothing, I said no thanks, I'll call someone else.

God awful service and experience.. I have a gas leak in my condo through the fireplace. i heard Russell's plumbing worked out the complex's gas line originally so i called Russell's and they said a technician will be here to fix it between 12-4pm.. No one came, so at 5pm i called and they said oh sorry, the guy had an emergency and cant make it.. Well THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW! Then the lady ""Lindsey"" (who was rude) said the tech would come by in the morning the next day between 8-10am.. 11am hits and he still isn't here. i call them and a different lady answers and says she has no idea where he is, she doesn't have any record of my appointment and stated she had 2 techs call out sick and no one will be able to make it to fix my gas leak until the next day. I'm pretty pissed and the lady tells me to call back tomorrow morning and they can set something up. Here is the best part.. the next day they said they cant even fix a gas leak in my fireplace and wont be able to come out at all.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I never leave bad reviews on a company but this was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Never coming back...

At first, I was pleased with the company (via the phone). They were able to come out relatively quickly and would not charge us in order to get a quote. Great! However, during the time frame I was to be home, they called and said they were running late and couldn't come till tomorrow. Not overly happy, but things happen, I get it. The next day, the plumber was very nice and seemed to be pretty honest. He said he would have a quote in our box by the weekend. It never came. I then called the company and they said the plumber wanted to talk to me directly. I called his number and left a message. He never called back. They clearly didn't want my business.

Merry Christmas awoke to All Drains in a Brand New Home Backed Up & Water starting on the Wood Floors. Made 1 Call to Russell's Plumbing at 8:05am and the Water was Draining by 9:45am. The Service Tech was Phenomenal, Professional, Incredible. You'll always get my Business; Happy Customer Again... Don't change anything.

Called for a plumber to come out to our house for an estimate for faucet replacement labor. We are supplying the faucets. A Tom came out had look and said he would email an estimate.
That was on Nov 19. Since that time I have called three times to ask where my estimate was and was told they would check with Tom. So far there has been no calls back to me or any emails. They just don't care about Customer Service. I have had them out for repairs many times but no longer. JUst not dependable any more.

On November 27 Russell Plumbing was scheduled to do two relatively minor jobs.
We had used Russell Plumbing for over 35 years. This time the experience was terrible.
First we had called 3 days earlier to set up a morning appointment on Nov. 27, When no one showed up by 12 noon, we called and were told they had forgot to schedule us but acknowledged they had received our call to make an appointment for Nov. 27.
We were than told someone would be out about 4:00 pm
The ""plumber"" arrived at 4:30 pm and attempted to remove the set screw from the kitchen faucet handle. He used a drill and broke the bit into three pieces and additionally scratched the sink back splash material. He made no effort to pick up the broken drill pieces which flew out onto the kitchen floor. He said ""I can't get the screw loose - you need to but a new faucet"".
He carelessly dropped his drill and cord into the stainless steel sink.

Additionally he looked at a ball rod pop-up assembly in a bathroom sink and said ""It doesn't work because it is the wrong size"". I said ""Your done - I don't want any more damage"" after he tried to pry the drain stopper up with a broken drill bit !
He said that this was not how Russel Plumbing operates and he said ""We are better than this"" On this statement he was correct. Most anything would be better than terrible.
