After dealing with 3 previous plumbers and spending $1,000, I called Russell Plumbing. They were came out and claimed to have fixed my issue. The office called shortly after the tech left and asked for payment. I asked them to call back in two hours and I would happily give them my credit card. Ft Worth Ship and Mail has been around for 28 years and has a stellar business reputation for being fair and good customer service. The office lady tells me they CANT WAIT and hands the phone over to Raymond, the owner. He continues about getting paid and not min 2 hours but NOW. My invoice, totalling $275, reflects a $225 bill for everything BUT parts: Remove tubing and cleaning a blocked line with an overflow problem that says 1 per hour at $225. Below had labor at 1/2 for $50. I asked Raymond to help me understand the math but, because he was not in front of the invoice, he could NOT EXPLAIN IT. He goes on to lecture me about the lien they will put on me and my business if I don't comply and PAY NOW.
I reluctantly paid them but will not use this outfit again even for free. For the 2 hours I asked for, I hope this negative posts cost them this in spades on how NOT to Treat Customers. Unless you want demanding phone calls, stay away from this guy Raymond and his Russell Plumbing.
