Called for an estimate for hot water tank replacement with a power vent. Owner of the company shows up, barges in, I take him downstairs to show him the unit be replaced. Gives a quick overview on what needs to be done, says it's going to cost $2800, original quote over the phone was $3600. Tells me to get a garden hose and run it through the basement window to drain the tank, then says to me he's going to the shop to get a new tank. I politely asked if he wouldn't mind just providing a written quote. Guy loses his mind, starts ranting and raving about about that's the best price your gonna get, my work is quality, just ask your neighbor 20 doors away. Proceeds to storm out of the house saying how busy he is at he rest of the day. Poor sob is so unprofessional it's hard to believe he's owns a plumbing outfit. Complete fuckin baby. Definitely don't waste your time even calling this bitch.

We highly recommend Russell Heating & Cooling. He has replaced our water heater and also our sump pump. The water heater now has a reservoir and drain to the sump, so it will never be a problem again. He's professional, a pleasure to work with and leaves a clean work site. The only thing he leaves behind is a fair and reasonable bill. He'll be my next call for any heating or cooling needs.

I called this guy when my AC went out last week. Rudest most unprofessional guy I've ever dealt with. He hung up the phone the first time I called saying he's with someone. When he finally called back, I explained what was going on. Asked when the last time I had the AC on since he can't make any money if he comes out if the ""compressor is hot"". Then he says I don't need the money anyway, been at this since 1980, etc. (my wife was beside herself) Says I will get hold of you later, hangs up the phone. I ended up with someone else. Fixed in 15 min, where he didn't go near the compressor. This guy needs to be avoided at all costs.

Pretty honest guy. Came to my home and fixed my hvac system and didn't try to upsell me. Since I had a positive experience with Jay, I figured I would throw him my business again. I wanted to expand my current heat ducting into my basement. He told me ""he may have bigger fish to fry."" I was kind of blow back by his response. He made an appointment for 2 weeks and never called and never showed. Seems to be a trend around here of contractors that are not reliable. I took off of work and was stood up. You only screw me over once. I won't be using him again for myself or any of my properties.

Came by when we needed him for heating emergencies. Totally blew us off for other work, even after we went out and bought the parts he recommended, and scheduled a time for the work to be done. Per a neighbor, that is the consensus in the neighborhood.

Russell Heating and Cooling has saved my bacon twice now. Last summer the capacitor on my A/C died but they were there that same day and had a fix in place. Most recently, a spindown filter on my tankless heater sprung a leak, and the installer spent days spinning their wheels trying to find a replacement. I called Russell Heating and Cooling and they bypassed it, restoring my hot water immediately and had a part on order that same day.

Mr. Russell came quickly when my inducer motor failed. He gave me a fair price and did the work professionally. I have hade no problems since. I would definitely recommend his company for any hvac problems.
