Recommended Customer Reviews
I have been using Russell's services for the past several years. A few weeks ago we were hearing strange noises in the heating pipes, he came over immediately and fixed the problem inexpensively. He always responds quickly and shows up when he says he will. He keeps things neat and tidy when he works and he always gets the job done right on the first try. I recommend his services strongly. He is a pleasure to work with.
Perry A.Russ came to our home to fix a leak on very short notice. He was very polite and insisted on wearing shoe booties to protect our floors - our other plumber never did that. He showed us what the problem was and gave us a detailed estimate. His price was very reasonable and the work was great. He showed us exactly what needed to be done and upon completion went over what he did do. The area he worked in was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. We highly recommend Russ Bleakley Plumbing.
Zero stars here. These guys are the worst. We paid them to come in a diagnose a problem with our sink. They came, diagnosed, TOOK our money, promised to order the part they need to fix the problem...and said they would call as soon as the part came in.
That was 2 months ago. The sink is still broken, no part....and no return phone calls from Mr. Russell Bleakley. EVEN to respond to my voicemail request for the name and part number that we need so that we can hire another plumber.
This guy is a crook. Take your business elsewhere.
Extremely overpriced. I suggest you go elsewhere, and get other estimates before you settle for them. They did some work for me several years ago, without a price estimate beforehand, because they told me they could not predict the amount of work going to be done. They handed me the $,$$$ bill and waited for me to pay on the spot. I was a new and inexperienced home owner back then so I didn't question anything. I later found out through the years that they charged 2-3x as much as other companies!!! I learned from my mistake, and now I am willing to even wait for another company before even thinking about hiring them. They are pretty curt with their answers as well.
We needed a new UV filtration system for our well.Made an appointment and it was changed 3 times because of other emergencies. They installed it OK, but didn't complete the job by shocking the system. (The UV kills bacteria. However, everything from UV to house is untreated, so when putting in a new system, that should be treated. ) So I did it (I only knew to do this because I read the manual) and did it incorrectly. I had water tested and it still had bacteria in it. So I called to see if they could do it...said they could, for $250 dollars.
I then speak to 2 other companies--both said they automatically shock the system for the client. One said he would charge me $150--and apologized that it was so much, saying he had to travel far.
So, while they did in fact install a UV system, they did not complete the job. Had I not known that system needed to be shocked, my family would be drinking contaminated water.
