I needed a waterline installation from the street to my home because of a water leak out next to my driveway. He told me that he would come to fix it in the next week and never showed up. He didn't call me to reschedule and when I called him he did not answer my phone calls. I finally got him on the phone and he scheduled another appointment and didn't show again. After several no shows and failure to call back I cancelled his service even though He charged me for the job. I have no water for almost a month now and some of his excuses range from him getting little last minute jobs from American Water (neglecting my dire emergency) to not being able to work in the rain. He bad mouthed me several times and with lots of patience I tried to resolve but, I finally fired him today.

Awful! Dies not show up on time. Unreliable. Took deposit of $350 and never provided supplies nor complete the job. Never returned numerous phone calls! Stay away from this business in Poconos!

Piece of shit!! You call for him to come out he asked you what you have to repair he tells you it's garbage tries to sell you other stuff!! Missed 3 appointments for my family this week. Works for Sears and is just a complete whiner I hope Sears kicks him to the curb. Unreliable loser !!!!! Thumbs down! JERK

I have used Russ for about 10 years. He is super. Comes whenever I have a problem asap. As a single person homeowner, I rely on people that I can trust to come in my home without my being there. He has always let himself in, done the work and left the bill.

A crook even has some scruples. Russ Smeltz has NONE. Asked him for an estimate and he claims to have done the job. Ripped me off and did virtually nothing and sent an estimate to do more work telling me I have to pay him $2500. for work done already. He told a friend of ours that they had to pay them $1500. or he would rip out their boiler. I would like to find out his plumber's license and report him. DO NOT CONSIDER USING THIS CROOK!!!

I hired this ""plumber"" to complete a simple job at my home in April 2016. He was very rude cursed constantly and when it was all said and done he billed 525.00$ for two hours of work and he didn't even complete the work. He then stated to complete the job it would cost 2,500$ and it would take two days. I had another Licensed Plumber quote me at 800$ and one day.

Grinder alarm was going off and I called this company. The gentlemen came out and informed me that my engine was broken and needed ""at least $900."" He said it might be more once he opened it up and looked inside. In looking at the other reviewers on the Yellow Pages.com site I noticed one review was written by the plumber himself. I got suspicious and said I would call him back to authorize a fix on Monday. I called a second service and without telling them anything, they came out, pulled the item that had jammed the system, and fixed it in 30 minutes charging me only $140.
