First, he's courteous. Unfortunately, Thomas will not try to explore saving you money even if you know what needs to be done. He gave no options other than a big-budget re-pipe of the area systems. He merely said that it would be expensive. There was no bid, I assume because he was playing me first to see if I would ask for the estimate after he said it would be costly. I'm sure this is his ""procedure"".

When I explained I wanted a surface reroute (as almost all the pipe was surface installed in the past), he said he couldn't repair the pipe because of ""UPC"" (uniform plumbing code). I pointed out that repairing this type of leak does not require a permit. I've had this repair done on several properties. He wasn't mean or anything, but if he wants the high income of a repipe instead of following my directions as the owner, in my book, he is useless. Moreover, if he wants to consider himself to be a neighborly plumber, if his client wants to save some change, he needs to show intelligence and empathy; consider alternative repairs other than an expensive, substantial re-pipe.

He just replaced two water heaters for us which is a big job in this heat, as well as the shut off to our main line which had failed unbeknownst to us. Absolutely amazing! Our toilet was clogged. We called at 7:30am. Thomas answered the phone and came right over. Problem solved and he was on his way by 8:45am.

He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and very reasonable. He even gave these octogenarians a senior discount!

The pipes from our side by side bathroom sinks clogged and would not drain. When we put water down one sink, it would come back up in the other sink. We called another drain cleaning company. They worked on it and said the snake would not do the job. They needed to remove the cabinets, cut through the wall and replace the pipes. It was a several thousand dollar solution. I called Rush Rooter, because his address was on the east side of Tucson. I happened to catch him in his truck, on the road, and between jobs. He came to my house, did an examination, quoted a price, drafted the paperwork, and said he thought his snake was good enough to clear the pipe. He said he has a drop feature on his snake which would allow him to make the turns necessary. It worked. He had it cleared, and the sink piping replaced in less than an hour. Excellent work, very polite, And it cost less than $300, including some new piping. I strongly recommend Tom for any similar work. I kept his card and will use him again if the need arises.

Thomas, the owner of Rush Rooter has been there to save us from disaster on a number of occasions. He is fair in his pricing, and takes the time to be certain that the client understands exactly what is going on. In an adult lifetime, I have not found a more honest businessman, who is also the fastest to respond to any call.
He gets there when promised, and is never late. He works hard and gets all jobs done fast.
Rush Rooter has cleared our sewer pipes at less of a cost than anyone else, and was done faster. He has, when the old clay pipes became structurally unsound dug up, and replaced the pipes at a reasonable cost, and finished the job in a single day's work.
