Tom C.Have been a customer for years and could not be more pleased. They have installed both my heater and ac system and have always responded without a problem even though we are over a hour away from there office. Office staff easy to work with and the techs that come to the house are top notched and trustworthy.
Grace W.Buyer beware. I was charged $249 for approximately 30 mins of work (that's from the time the technician arrived until he left). In my mind, that equates to $500/hr fee. Even if I factored in a half hour for driving time, it would still be $250/hr fee. The owner/manager justified this rate by quoting me the costs of running a business - insurance, trucks, and salaries, but how is this any different or unique from other reputable plumbing companies? He didn't seem overly concerned that I will not be a repeat customer. I guess when you've fleeced one already, you don't need them to come back.
Daniel D.Dave M. was fantastic. Hottest day of the year, needed major repair, provided two fair, honest solutions sensitive to cost. Company provided a window unit for my sick mother's room at no charge until we could get the parts in to complete the repair. Dave M. went above and beyond the call of duty.
Dru H.We have used Runnemede H/C/E for 20 years. They initially installed 2 AC units, and we have used them for the subsequent 20 years for maintenance. We had the pleasure of meeting a new tech this year. I thought our previous tech was irreplaceable, but a gentleman named Dave came this season. He was knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of our home and just a genuinely nice guy! Other than the once a year preventative service, one hopes to not not need unplanned service calls, but we will look forward to seeing Dave in the future.
My warranty company for my tankless water heater sent this company. I had some warm water before, when he left it was freezing cold and they refused to come back saying another company was coming out. Terrible service. I would not recommend them.
Mark M.Winter of 2014 we had Runnemede heating do a full install of a new Amana hybrid heatpump (Heatpump + gas furnace) and Central air... and the timing of it was during a really ice, snowy cold winter. Bonus fun is, we had to have SJ Gas run a gas line to the house during a nasty winter. As if that weren't enough, we were doing a kitchen remodel at the same time and wanted to remove the chimney in the center of the house, but needed the old heater still running until the last minute... Oh, and they had to have the old basement oil tank removed also! It was a lot of coordinating on Runnemede Heating's part, especially with SJ Gas delaying the new gas line because of the brutal winter. Runnemede did an awesome job installing our Amana system, they moved two vents to accommodate our kitchen remodel, ran a new gas line for our new stove location, and then worked a gas line extension into the garage so I could later put heaters in the garage. As I mentioned, the big challenge was the gas line, and RH could only do so much before the line was run and got the heatpump portion of the heater working first, so they could keep the house warm, and get rid of the old system and the oil tank.. as well as allow us to complete the kitchen remodel. As soon as the gas line was installed they were at the house in days to complete the internal gas line and furnace work... and did a very professional job including all the extra work we asked for. It ended up being multiple phases of install.. and they were there like clockwork for each phase.
Bonus is, we bought under the NJ Energy Star program, and qualified for the state $5000 rebate and zero percent loan.
Its been 3 years now, and the system (Amana and install) works better than expected. I had some apprehension over a heat pump (which in our scenario is heat pump above 40, then the gas furnace kicks in below that), but it's really worked better than I expected. the entire house feels warm all winter long, and nice and cool in the summer. 10 yr warranty is a stress saver.
I've recommended them to several, and a coworker did a full system install with similar success.
Absolutely great service! I called them because the main breaker kept tripping and of course while it was above 90 degrees outside. The woman who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. She quickly scheduled the electrician to come out within two hours. She also contacted pse&g for me because I was told by pse&g that the electrician had to come and unlock the box since we live in a condo complex. Sean, the electrician, came out. He was professional and very nice. He wore booties over his shoes when he came into my house. He found the problem and replaced the main breaker. He said he would be done within an hour and he was. I really don't have enough good things to say about this experience that could have been so much worse. Everyone was polite, helpful, they came when they said they would and did the job right. I'll be telling everyone about them!
Michael S.They did a phenomenal job on my oil to gas conversion and installing a new hot water heater / furnace system. Wish I could give this company 6 stars. I have had a couple issues since and they have come out no charge. I was prompted to leave a good review because I called them yesterday due to a leaking seal which leaked water all over my basement. When I called to let them know, they were out literally within a couple hours, fixed the part, and also shop vaced my entire basement for me. THANK YOU!
I found a new home to purchase and called this company and spoke with Kevin. We had a conversation about what needed to be inspected and replaced in this home in order to get my CO, as I had already paid for a home inspection. An appointment was made for the following week. On the day before the appointment, Kevin called to confirm and it was only then that he stated there would be a $200.00 fee just for him to step inside the house. This was never mentioned during his sales pitch, ever. I asked if that fee would be deducted from the costs of the work, and he said no. So, immediately I was going to be robbed for $200.00 no matter what. I told him there are lots of companies who would like to have business and offer free estimates. It was then that he got totally obnoxious and told me ""I'll get what I pay for."" and hung up on me. So, because the fees were never disclosed, I had to hire someone else, and I'm so glad I did. I did get a free estimate from a nice person. Then, I went on line and read so many negative reviews about Runnemede Plumbing. This company can only pull this trick for so long, before someone stops them. But for now, it looks like I really dodged a bullet on this one!!! Steer clear. Very shady sales tactics, disgruntled employees, hidden fees, rude staff and hundred to just show up. There are so many plumbers out there...don't settle for this nonsense.
I cannot say enough how satisfied I am with your crew. they are extremely professional, neat and respectful of my home I am very satisfied. They go above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied. I look forward to doing business with your company in the future thank you again.
