Ruiz was called to my house to repair a leaking and running toilet. After he was paid and left, I realized it was not repaired. Since he had already been paid for a job not done, I asked him to come back out at no charge and honor his work. He refused. The licensed plumber I hired to do the job said he could not tell any work had been done and informed me Ruiz had charged me double the amount he was billing me. He suggested I leave a review to help other people who might be considering hiring him for a job. I would not recommend him.

Beware!!! Very shady ethics!!! I have never been taken advantage of this bad in my life!!!! I had an issue and needed emergency help with a water line break as I was out of town on business and my wife was home with no water (separate story)! Ruiz Plumbing was called by random fate. When the owner (Jose) arrived he did call me. He told me how very bad a situation I had along with a few other choice words. It sounded incredibly bad the way he explained it and since my wife had no water and I was in Colorado I didn't have much of a choice and had to get it fixed! He knew he had me and said $2000 it's a big job that will take a lot of time! He did the work in under 2 1/2 hours and charged us $2,075! Additionally he never finished the job! He left a hole in my wall with a pipe sticking 12"""" out telling my wife he would come back after the hole if filled. I thought the $2,000 included fixing the wall. As I said he knew he had me! So when I got home to inspect the job, I was disappointed by the way they left it and didn't see even close to $2075 worth of work. So I called Jose to discuss the work and educate/justify me on the $2075. After hearing him say it is what I agreed to and that's it! I told him I rarely write a review, but this is just ripping me off and could I expect an adjustment based on a ridiculous $830/hr rate. He lost it on me screaming into the phone GO F__K YOURSELF, KISS HIS ASS, write reviews or whatever I DON'T GIVE A S__T! Quite an attitude for the owner of the company??? Later, I texted him to have him finish the job since I filled the hole in the wall. Not surprisingly he has Ghosted me! I never raised my voice or said anything rude to him but Jose I am writing reviews, lot's of them and I will post them often! Not a very professional or caring attitude! Additionally he did not honor the 15% senior discount advertised on his website and my wife was afraid to ask for it! Find anyone else, this company will take advantage of you!

So I'm working in Miami but live in Spring hill and my wife is at home and the toilet in the master bath backs up and there's water poop everywhere on a Tuesday night but it slowly drained by itself but it was gurgling like it wanted to do it again. She called me hysterical as she should be and I told her to stud towels in the toilet and call a plumber. I don't know where 24/7 came into play but no one came till next morning. This guy was there 3 hours to take a toilet off replace a flange and put it back on and unclog the line in the master bath through the same toilet. The other 2 bathrooms were okay and was there 3 hours just labor except for the flange which maybe cost $25 at home Depot. I'm sure it was cheaper for him at the plumbing supply store. $1,800. !!! That's $600.00 an hour just labor?! Charged to a woman home alone. I'm sick to my stomach about it. Watch your wallet! Not posting any pictures for obvious reasons...

rip off and unprofessional this is the worst plumbing company in the area. do not use ruiz plumbing. he is a rip off! barely does work and charges triple of other plumbing companies. we were new to the area and needed services. do not use this plumber, you will regret you called him. i have never had someone with such unprofessional service and over charge for services. do not use this service!

Beware of this company.... They charged me $1900 for 3 hrs of work to snake plumbing pipes because my toilets were backed up. Thats ,$600 an hour and he didn't even change any parts . My elderly mother was at the house and he didn't even give us the senior discount mentioned on his website. I have called them countless times to try and negotiate with them regarding this and they will not pick up the phone or answer texts....Very unprofessional company and nothing more than crooks. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

He completed what I asked, but the prices were very very high. One of his jobs made it so my sink drawer does not close properly. He came in a short amount of time, and did the service requested. I would not use again.

Jose Ruiz gave me a free consultation on water treatment systems available for my home. The systems he recommends are pricier than other quotes, but you get what you pay for. The 2 step installation was completed today and it looks great! Jose did a through job and made sure I know how to change the sediment filter going forward; I am very satisfied with the work of Ruiz Plumbing. I recommend them and look forward to clean water in my home. I live in Hudson, Florida.

My daughter had a drain pipe leak in her tub. Jose came over charged $75 for an estimate. He said it would be a big job maybe take a week to fix. Gave an estimate of $3500 !! We called another licensed plumber and He gave us a free estimate. Had it fixed in less than an hour for $290 Buyer beware Ruiz will rip you off !! Always shop around
