Rodney joined the company in 1977, representing the third generation of the Rudd family. In 1981, he earned his Texas Journeyman Plumbing license and served as a field foreman until 1994, when he achieved his Texas Master Plumbing license. Rudd Plumbing now operates under Rodney's master license.
Rodney oversees all plumbing division operations. He is focused on quality and emphasizes this in everything from new construction and renovations to service tasks. Rodney is firm in his belief that Rudd Plumbing will never compromise on quality for profit. Delivering quality work alongside excellent customer service is his top priority.

Kathy B.Website says fix sewer problems. Told secretary what issues were . Plumber arrives. States she's new and doesn't kniw they don't work on septic systems . So while there anyway asked to install shower faucets we ordered on Amazon as thus is old fiberglass surround difficult to find knobs. Told us these were cheap and won't work. I wanted brushed stainless. All he had was chrome . So he replaces stems and installs handles only with shiny chrome . Says that's all he has . Didn't install tub spout or shower head. So now I have mix of gold and chrome. Says he will call supplier local who can get brushed stainless. I pay $250 for work done . Pay $250 for stainless at supplier . He says husband can install easily. Husband can't get knobs off so we call another company . Another $250. So now I've spent $750 . Asked for itemized receipt from Rudd. Secretary says they just charge set rate and can't itemize . After all this we won't call Rudd again
Bryan A.If I had one word to describe my experience with Rudd it would be WOW. It all started with a call to them and speaking with Belinda. I have never dealt with a company or business treating me (the customer) with the level of respect and and compassion for my dilemma which was a hot water heater that needed replaced. Belinda gave me the peace of mind and was very attentive and listened and answered all of my questions. She then got me quickly on the schedule to have the guys come out (at no cost) and find out what was going on with my old water heater. The two plumbers that came out (Brandon and Jonah) were extremely helpful and walked me through the whole process. I have to say that Jonah and Brandon worked until 8pm to finish the job of replacing my hot water heater and reducing the pressure to my house that was actually way too high. Brandon and Jonah did not complain at all about working late on 12/21/18 (4 days before Christmas). They worked very hard on got me and my family hot water again as well as my extended family that showed up halfway through the removal/installation process.
I will have absolutely no problem choosing them again over all plumbers in the Tyler TX area for the exceptional customer service, friendliness, respectfulness, and treating like family.
