Recommended Customer Reviews

Have used Rucker Mechanical twice for electrical needs and both times they were very nice, on time and fairly priced.

So far this company can't figure out what is wrong with our Everest Refrigerator. We've spent over $2000. Hourly rate is ridiculous. The service guy is nice but who wouldn't be when they are charging an arm and leg. I'll update if they are able to repair and adjust my review accordingly.

Rucker Mechanical is always a pleasure to work with!
A family business that has a standard of exceeding expectations. Locally owned and operated, an honest company that does a great job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very poor customer service! We had a problem with water coming out on our living room carpet. I called our HVAC company and they sent a technician right out. The HVAC tech told me it was not an HVAC problem, it was a plumbing problem. My central drain was clogged. I called Rucker Mechanical on 4/26/2019. I had to wait until their tech Jonathan came out on 5/2/2019. When Jonathan came out, he looked in the HVAC closet and said it was an HVAC problem. I told him that our HVAC company had already been out and said it was a plumbing problem with a clogged central line. He asked if we had a central clean-out valve. I told him I didn't think so, as that would have probably come up in the past. He went outside and looked and found none. He then flushed both of my toilets, ran water in my sinks, shower and tub and said he could not find the problem. He did not check the washing machine! Neither did he even lift the tape up and look into the drain of the HVAC closet. He didn't want to do any work! But he charged me $118 for nothing! Do not use this company! I called Rucker again on 5/11/2019 as the water was getting really bad on the living room carpet. They sent Ryan to check the problem. Ryan was at our house quite a while and checked everything! He had me run a load of laundry and when it started to drain, he found the problem. He told me as it was Saturday, I would have to pay a large overtime charge. If I could wait until Monday, he would come back and take care of the problem. He said he would try to get the previous $118 fee deducted from my cost. Ryan didn't charge me for the visit on Saturday. Well, Monday morning comes and my husband calls to see when Rucker is coming to our house. They are not! They do not feel responsible for anything! Don't use this company! They are frauds!

Great company. I have used Rucker Mechanical at home and at work for years now. I appreciate the great customer service they provide and they always do a great job. I highly recommend Rucker mechanical for any plumbing, heat and air and electrical work.

Very poor Office manager. Had a service call done on my system, and the teck had a new guy with him. Had the same service done by them for years. Less than 48 hour later the air conditioner had stopped cooling. Before the office manager would let a teck come back out to see what was wrong, she demanded a full service charge price be paid. After that their teck that normally does our system had gotten it running. Our system has been running for over a month with no problem. Called for a refund and the manager (owner's wife) Said their first guy was their best teck. He doesn't make mistakes. No refund.
DO NOT USE RUCKER MECHANICAL!!!!!

Just paid $110 to be told I use the incorrect voltage of light bulbs. Also paid for an extra charge ""truck"".. not sure what that means but that's the most I've ever paid to have someone tell me there's nothing wrong. If there is a base charge you should be informed of that prior to them even coming out. I just paid them to literally tell me to go buy different light bulbs.. 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

Have been using there service for years at both of my locations! Yet I received a very disturbing and rude call today for a November invoice... Yes I understand its a November invoice but there are ways to communicate with the owner/customer and not just sit in your little desk and call and harass my employees! Not only was I bad mouth I was over charged! I am a business owner and there is a reason I am not just sitting around playing with my fingers. Never using this ""company"" again worst service ever!

Tried to scam us. Showed up at our house without calling (while I was at work), said things were broken that weren't, replaced equipment without permission, stole our current equipment, tried to bill for extra hours (they were there less than half an hour), left our problem in even worse shape, lied over and over to cover it up, then hung up on us when we tried to call and talk to them. They know that they're scamming people, and they like to play the ""so what, you can't do anything about it"" card.
