Finding Ruach Home Services when we had water damage was literally a God-send for my family. We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling that was coming from the bathroom above. I called a few places and set up appointments and randomly decided to call and check out Ruach based on numerous good reviews I'd read here on Yelp. Jed answered the phone and after briefly explaining our issue, he said he would be by in 20 minutes to take a look. After looking at what we had going on, I already felt very good about using Ruach. We scheduled his crew to show up the following morning to get to work restoring and mitigating the mold that was found (evidently the leak had been going on for some time). To say that Jed and his team helped us through this process would be an understatement. We ended up having the entire bathroom remodeled and it is, by far, the nicest room in our house. From start to finish, Ruach took care of our family in a way that we have not experienced from any other company. We have been telling all our friends and family about the amazing experience we had and would highly recommend Ruach Home Services to anyone looking to do any repair or remodeling job in their home.

Tony and his crew did some plumbing and drywall repairs in my basement and they did a fantastic job. The first company that came out cut a hole in my ceiling, didn't find the leak, and left me with a leak AND a hole. Then we found Tony. The initial consultation was clear and informative. He gave good advice and guidance regarding insurance, and was upfront about the cost and scale of work. He was always very responsive, and his crew was on time, efficient, and professional. Ruach Home Services just completed a bathroom-closet remodel project for me. From the very start, Ruach has been wonderful to work with through the various stages of this construction process. Notably, from the speedy and detailed estimating phase through trouble-shooting random challenges uncovered from our previous lazy, amatuer builders. There has been efficient coordination of a variety of team members, all who display a diligent work ethic and specific skill sets, with high-quality craftmanship, attention to detail, clean and organized work spaces, and daily reliability. Tony redid my bathroom and installed an incredible steam shower! It was a complex project but thanks to his expertise in electrical, design and plumbing it went very smoothly. We used Jed and team for our renovations of a new Condo my daughter purchased in Columbia. It needed a lot of work and we needed a reliable, trusted partner to complete all the work in our timeframe. Jed and team came through and the place is transformed. We are very happy with both his professionalism, work completed and the constant communication he provided.

Since I came in from out of town and didn't have a car, Jed even went out of his way to pick me up to take me to pick out the tile and vinyl planks etc. They redid the ceilings from cement Popcorn to smooth, normal looking ceilings, installed vinyl plank flooring, tiled the bathroom and other miscellaneous things.

We are very happy with his work and his professionalism. He did everything he said he would in the timeframe he quoted and gave us the confidence we need to ease our mind the renovations would be done correctly and on time!

Ruach Home Services, and its owner, Tony Harvey, did an outstanding job remediating a long-neglected black mold problem in my basement and entry hall. I first hired him to take care of mold that had grown on the vaulted ceiling in my hallway. He and his very professional staff removed the drywall from the ceiling and other affected areas, treated the mold, then replaced the drywall and repainted disturbed areas. I could not tell there had ever been a problem. Although Tony counseled that I should have my basement checked for mold, I delayed. Later, after another basement flood, with the basement mold spreading, I called him again for help. He came immediately, drained the water, and assessed the mold situation, which was extreme. He and his staff took care of getting a dumpster, removing furniture and other stuff from my basement, and waiting for me to decide what to save and what to trash. In the end, he had to remove all of the drywall from the basement. When he saw what was behind the drywall, he advised me that I should consult a foundation and waterproofing expert due to unusual features of my foundation. Bottom line: I feel very lucky to have had Tony and Ruach tackle my problem. They are responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and fair. Big plus: Tony is a licensed contractor, and experienced in many construction fields (important to me), and all of his workers are extremely pleasant to work with.
