I had the BEST experience with RSM Plumbing today! I needed a new toilet. RSM Plumbing did EVERYTHING for me. They even got the toilet & new connectors for me. Appointment scheduled in one day. James made a courtesy call when he headed to my house, arrived on time, wore a mask and completed the job in under 45 minutes!! He even took my trash bag with him.

James was friendly, polite and conscientious. He cleaned up and hauled away the old toilet along with all the packaging from the new toilet. Made sure the water was back on and the toilet worked, and no leaks!!

I would HIGHLY recommend RSM Plumbing and will not hesitate to call them again for all my plumbing needs.

Had a clogged drain at 5:00 Pm on a weekday. Called RSM and in two hours James came out to look. Couldn't work on it then but gave me a time to come the next day. Called 30 minutes prior as he discussed. Came back unclogged drain and did a couple other maintenance issues. Highly recommend James and RSM Plumbing!!

This could be a much higher review. The work they did was well done. However the price of the work seemed to be far higher than would be expected, and the owners have avoided explaining the bill. Allow me to explain.

I hired RSM to replace a faucet in my master bath. The work was tricky in that they had to cut through tile to make the replacement. Mike (the plumber who came to my house) was able to complete the job in approximately 2 hours. He arrived a little after 11am January 7th and left before 1:20pm. I can prove this based on texts sent and received by Don one of the owners.

The parts (faucet, overflow plate, shoe trim) came to $640 before tax, as Don had confirmed to me before and after the work was done. The final price was $1414. I paid them, as they had done the work, but asked for an itemized bill so I could understand where the $700 additional dollars came from for 1 guy doing 2 hours of work.

I've had two texts and three phone calls with Don and David, the owners of the business. My talk with David was particularly troublesome. He stated that his guy had to have been there more than two hours (again I have proof he was not) and that his guy also had to leave to get parts (which he did not do). David stated that the work in the invoice could not have been done in two hours, which again feels suspicious.

David promised that Don and Mike would call me and explain the bill, as he now states he is unfamiliar with what was billed. The calls have yet to occur.

Given that both owners of the business will not take 10 minutes to even explain the bill or provide an itemized invoice, I am left to assume that they or their employee have willfully attempted to overcharge me.

They seem to be charging $350/hr for labor on a regular day, which is nearly double the rate for Orange county. Until they will take a moment to explain the bill I can only assume they are attempting to take advantage by hoping I would not ask questions about the bill.

At this point I can only say, I would not recommend hiring RSM Plumbing. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB and the Contractors State license board.

I had an emergency on Christmas morning they came out, and over charged me I understand it was Christmas Day, but having to pay $1000.00 for having my drain cleared is not reasonable as they say there prices are. I sent them an email to negotiate the price the have never replied since Christmas. I won't ever recommend them and I will tell people on Facebook not to hire them. I will contact the BBB I'm very unhappy. The plumber who came didn't even drain the water inside my laundry room he drain some but not much and left it up to me to finish the job?

We have used RSM Plumbing several times over the past 20 years, but in the past year they laid a new main water line and today they unclogged a sink another company couldn't unclog. Both times Gilbert (Jr.) came out and he couldn't be kinder. Their prices are very competitive. I first fell for a low price to unclog the sink but the price quickly doubled when I told them I first tried a store bought drain liquid because they told me it can damage their tools. Call RSM Plumbing first, it is a great family run company with the 3rd Junior just 3 months old!

Noticed water running down our driveway this morning. Turns out our water heater & shut off valves went out. RSM Plumbing had installed this unit 22.5 years ago (lasted a long time, Don, thanks for a good install so long ago). RSM was able to dispatch a tech & get replacement installed today.
