Terrible.
I called them to have someone give an estimate on what we thought was a slab leak.
I also called a second company per my insurance co (who showed up first and ended up fixing the problem which was a pin hole leak in an exposed pipe above ground).
As soon as I found out the nature of the problem I called RSM back to stop their guy from coming out as I didn't want them to waste time or expense for something that was being resolved. By coincidence their guy was at the door when I was on the phone with them canceling the appt. I also explained to him the situation and he said no problem and was happy that it wasn't a larger issue.
About 10 minutes later a ""Mike"" calls me back and says ""thanks for wasting our time"" and that it was ""unprofessional of me to call 2 companies to look at a potential job""!!
I guess I'm an unprofessional consumer as opposed to a professional that would have fixed the leak themselves!!
They don't get the service company / consumer concept and in reading some of the reviews below it's apparent they've been jerks before and the only decent guys may be the ones that actually do the work.

I manage a 16 unit building that is 54 years old, so things are getting old and leaking, and Gilbert of RSM plumbing has consistently saved me from plumbing emergencies--slab leaks, sewage backup because of roots and a crack, along with the ""normal"" clogs and aging pipes. He always assesses the situation quickly, and fixes it with expert precision. He knows his stuff AND he patiently answers all my questions. I'm so glad the owner of my building has a reliable and trustworthy plumbing company, one that I would recommend to anyone who knows the value of a skilled plumber and wants the job done right.

AMAZING customer service! My aunt and I had to do a repipe at our home recently and Gil the plumber was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout the entire ordeal. The price was good as well. You pay for quality work right! Thanks Gil!

This company is a joke!!!! The first time they came out they didn't even have the correct tools to fix my drain problem. So I rescheduled and they came back out and took their sweet time and never even fixed the problem. I was told to dig up some drains and they could come back and and maybe fix the problem. What was quoted on the phone was not what I was charged and ended up spending $1100.00 and actually ended up getting my problem fixed for $100 on top of what they didn't do for $1100.00. I would suggest to look somewhere else for plumbing issues this company sucks.

These guys are extremely expensive. Do your research. You have plenty of choices. They charged me $280 for what I later found to be a $75 job which they completed in 7 minutes.

I don't think they have a company full of idiots rather, I'm trying to bring attention that all it takes is one. I posted a picture of the work. The people are very very nice on the phone and in person. People 5 outta 5 sill 0 outta 5. Someone should say it.

Not happy with this place at all. First of all the guy who answers the phone (Don..the owner?) has zero personality and comes off as impatient and rude. But more importantly, the service calls are outrageously expensive. They weren't even able to figure out the issue we were having with our unit. Had to pay the invoice for absolutely no fix whatsoever. Very expensive. Total rippoff.

Perhaps if you have an ""obvious"" problem that takes zero brainstorming to solve(like a valve that is left on) then you may get at least something to show for your money from this co. But, what a joke.

Unfortunately though, I have a feeling all of these plumbing companies are prob the same way. But whatever, Youtube is killing them all. This work is simple enough for a DIY that just needs a little motivation to do a search and learn it themselves instead of paying somebody to aim a flashlight at a pipe and charge you for it. So, with a little 1 hour lesson on youtube I will be able to add plumbing to my long list of trades now and never call them again. It is easy. Thanks for nothin Don.

The guys from RSM Pluming came through huge and spent all day making sure my hot water heater was replaced and installed properly.

I don't think the cost was high for all the time and work they did. You get what you pay for.

Keith did a great job when I had a broken main water line outside my house. They came on short notice on a Saturday as I was ""digging"" in my yard and busted what I thought was a sprinkler line.

He soldered a new copper piece to connect to the pvc and hooked it all up and even removed a useless sprinkler valve. It was $250 including the emergency service call fee which I thought was a pretty good deal.

Based on the negative reviews I see here, I must have been lucky every time I used RSM Plumbing, because I have yet to have a negative experience with them. I have used them many times over the years, to replace a water heater (called around, by far the best price quoted), fix a slab leak and install new plumbing fixtures. They have always arrived at the stated time and charged a reasonable price.

This last time, I used them when my contractor's plumber failed to show up to finish the job he had started. This was the second time the guy had pulled this stunt, and that was enough. In desperation, I called RSM, who had a plumber to my house within a couple of hours (no premium charge, despite the fact that it was a Saturday). They quoted me a price that was, coincidentally, the same as the balance I owed the guy I'd just fired.

They did a great job (even came by to paint over the patch job they'd done), and Keith even loaned me the shower drain grate he is going to be using for his own shower remodel, until I could get one from the supplier, since mine had not been purchased yet.

Definitely will be using them from now on. Feel like an idiot for listening to my contractor on this one.
