I've been with RS Andrews for over 20 years. I've been satisfied for the most part and I'm hard to please. They are not the most reasonable HVAC in the area, but I lean toward quality.

I've had several units replaced over the years. The worse systems were Trane which they sold me. Less than 10 years I replaced with Carrier and I'm much happier. The company is no longer local and was bought out by a national dealer. I actually think this has made them stronger. They now offer electrical and plumbing.

Service has been overall good. I had one major issue that they replaced just out of warranty. The entire downstairs furnace could not be repaired after it incurred moisture damage.

The best tech over the years has been Scott. The office people are responsive. Overall I have been pleased. Having the service agreement has been worth it to stay regular on maintenance.

I think a strong 4 stars represents my experiences over 20 years.

Way overpriced! Cost of covered warranty repairs in most cases exceeds or equals what a small AC business would charge without warranty. They bring no additional value. Look elsewhere!

The tech said I needed a new unit. I said I need to think about it. I new the heatwave was causing it not to cool at full power. Tech said I'll clean the coils and a replacement part. I paid $695.00 to the tech. I got a second opinion a few days later. This tech said I didn't need a new unit. The tech also said no part was replaced and the coils weren't cleaned. The tech showed me the coils and they were filthy and there was a loose coil. This tech wrote on paper what was wasn't done and I emailed to the manger of RS Andrews. I also spoke to the manager and he promise to refund my money. Ten days later no refund. Today I diputed it with my credit card company and I will make a
BBB complaint. This company tried to gouge me during a heatwave and lied about the service they perform. Beware of this company.

Did not keep the appointment I made. Overpriced service. And to top it off when the techs left after taking my compressor off they put it back on wrong which could have caused other issues if I didn't catch it. Avoid them

They came and installed a new HVAC system in my home about 3 months ago and since then have had to come back 5-6 times due to lack of experience. I am still currently waiting on this company to come back to my home to fix something that was recognized as a problem weeks ago. 10/10 would not recommend.

call to get a quote on getting a system installed in my house. They said they are not doing new installs right now. They were only doing a replacement. Wow let's just take on the easy work.

Failed to show during the 12pm-5pm window and didn't call to advise me they were running late. I called at 3PM and again at 4:15 and was told my appointment was still confirmed.

I called at 5:10 and was told the technician was on a call and had another call in the queue before me, so it was obvious they were not coming out and failed numerous times to inform me.

I left a voicemail message with their ""Quality Manager"" and he never returned my call.

I highly recommend everyone avoid this company. They can schedule appointments, send spam email advertisements, confirm appointments, but just can't pick up the phone to keep their customer's informed or return a call after knowing they failed!

I know now what ""RS"" in RS Andrews means... ""Really Sorry""!

I have been a RS Andrew customer for years but not anymore. This company has been robbing me for years. I spent 10,000 dollars on a brand new system and a couple years later the heating element goes bad. RS Andrews comes out to say the repair will be $800.00. I ask isn't this part covered under my warranty. Their response is, Yes. Further state the amount of $800.00 is labor and stocking. Their plan was to charge $800.00 for labor that took the technician 20 minutes to fix. All this was in February. April comes and I fall for the $69.00 dollar AC tuneup special. In July, the hottest week of the year so farI have to call them again. Tech comes out and says your capacitor is bad. Tech goes to his truck I guess to speak to his corrupt service manager. Tech comes back to say the repair will be 717.00. I again say, isn't this covered under warranty. Tech says, of course it is, we are giving you a discount for the warranty of $300.00. In reality it would have cost $1017.00 if I didn't have warranty. So, for an $8.00 part. I was going to be charged $709.00 in labor for something yet again covered under warranty. To put the icing on the cake, I call Thursday night to the after hours number to get on the service list. They say, I will send a Tech out to your house between 12 and 5. I wait around at my house at 4:30 the Tech shows up to tell me he doesn't have the part on his service truck and that I would have to wait for a call back. Not anymore RS Andrews, Not anymore

If I could give them a zero I would. I have never in my lifetime experienced such incompetence, unprofessionalism, and horrible service. They left me and my family without air conditioning on days when the heat index was over 100°. The installers messed up a completely brand new unit. They did not read the notes properly. Came out twice with the wrong part. Told us a specific time and were over two hours late. This was the absolute worst service me and my family has ever experienced. I would not wish them on anyone.
