The 1 star is for the overpriced work. My flush valve and flapper are worn out. $300 is the ""discounted price"" I paid Roy's Plumbing. It took approx 10 minutes to change with a new kit that cost about $20. A 10-15minute job cost me $300. When I asked about this I was told they have a based price that has nothing to do with how short the job is or how cheap the material is. My other toilet has the same problem and I found a way cheaper price elsewhere.

There's not enough I CAN say about Roy!! Let's start with honest. In an industry where companies consistently upsell and overcharge,
Roy knew exactly what our issue was before he even set foot inside.

My dad has a very old 1950s track home and the main toilet had stopped working right before Thanksgiving. I won't get too graphic but it was like having a portapotty inside for several months. Nothing worked - no draino, no snaking the line. I had called several plumbers and Roy was the only one who kept the appointment.

It took a month to get the funds together (I was expecting it to be more than quoted when he and his men got to work) and as soon as his team arrived, it was the SAME PRICE and they labored for solid hour hydrojetting.

He called after his team did the job and even asked about 2 other areas that were connected to the line that I had mentioned 2 months before!

He's my first and only call from now on!

Need to replace water pressure value for the house as it was causing problems in the sprinklers and could have damaged much worse if not readily replaced.


Called Roy's and although a bit delayed in arriving earlier in the day, arrived and quickly replaced the offending valve with a new one. Great job overall!

Roy was very professional, timely and communicative. We had a leak from the water spicket in the yard. He replaced the spicket along with the water pressure regulator. Roy offered a senior discount, which was incredibly helpful! For the future we will be calling Roy's Plumbing when additional services are needed. We will recommend his company to family and friends.

Roy quickly answered request and made appointment. The work was done immediately to fix washing machine faucet leak. Excellent work. Cost was reasonable and about what I expected. would use Roy again. Would recommend Roy to others. Very pleased.

Called to have automatic toilet valve repaired in a commercial building. He didn't have the Zurn valve that was on there so I asked him to put in the Sloan retrofit like I had in the other restrooms. I specifically said I needed the 3 1/2 gallon flush as the low flush didn't do the job. $650 later I found they had installed a low flush manual valve. This is similar to the model valve that I had replaced 15 years ago. I'm glad that he was able to get to the job quickly, but unhappy that he did not follow my instructions or communicate that he was not going to install the type of valve I specified.
I have since ordered the correct valve from Amazon and will install it myself.
I won't be calling Roy's again as I need to work with people who communicate and follow instructions. It's nice that they were able to respond quickly, but doing the job correctly is also important.

Our hot water heater went off and wouldn't re-ignite. I reached out to a bunch of plumbers and repair companies but Roy was able to get here quickly and had it fixed in no time. He was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend!

I have never in my life written a bad review and have also never in my life filed a police report but there is no way this owner should get away with threatening customers after his employees cause problems. This man actually scared me and my father so badly that I filed a police report. I called Roy's plumbing after one plumber gave me a price of 350 to snake my toilet. Oh my gosh I wish to God I just went with the first plumber. When Roy's two employees came, the second they started snaking the toilet, they caused a HUGE leak into my parents bedroom. When I called him, he was yelling at me telling me his guys never even touched my toilet. I was in shock and kept asking him ""why are you doing this? Why are you denying this? Please please have them fix this!"" It was on speaker with me and my dad. He cursed and cursed at us and literally kept denying they even touched my toilet. He then told them in Spanish to leave my house and not admit they touched the toilet. It was on speaker so I said ""why are you telling them this?"" And he went crazy again cursing at me and said he knows where I live and he would come f***cking slash my tires!! The guy was the most unprofessional person I have ever come across! We called a plumber the following day who fixed what his guys did thank goodness. Oh and he's now telling detectives that we threatened him, that my police officer husband threatened him. My husband never said one bad thing to this guy! He invited my husband to his house, threatening him, gave him an address, etc. But of course my husband did not engage. This man is a huge liar and has serious anger problems!! It has taken me over a week to post this because we have literally been scared of his threats. Already filed a report and spoke to a detective.
