We called them with three small jobs. We were perfectly clear that this was NOT an emergency, but we needed some work done at their convenience.

1)The collar on my kitchen sink broke. I have a high end kitchen with granite and black appliances. The replaces a black collar with a stainless steel. Looks like a hillbilly job. Granted it doesn't leak and it is functional but I didn't spend all the money on my kitchen for a patch job. So now I have to get another part and another service call to get it done right.

2) I had two showers that had drips. For most people it probably wouldn't have even bothered them, but given we needed the above done, we thought it best to handle multiple issues at one time. I have all Delta shower heads (4) in my home. These are under lifetime warranty. So instead of telling me to call Delta and have the part shipped in, they replaced the cartridge and charged me and extra $100 for the part. Customer service should have been, you can wait and we can come back. Yes, you may have a small fee of 20 to 30 bucks for us to come back, but just assuming that it would be ok to pay for a part that is warrantied.

3) The workers were very professional, but they were just in it to make a buck. I probably won't have them back again.

I'm not sure when I first discovered Royal Rooter, but ever since they first came out I've been hooked and I've recommended them to countless friends and family all whom have had great experiences as well.

Tim is the owner, and whether it is him or one of his long-standing employees, they are as fair and honest as any service professional I've ever used. I use them now at my house, my parents house, my rental property, and my office building.

If I one complaint about Royal Rooter, it's that they are so busy they sometimes can't come out the same day. But that just reaffirms to me how great they are and isn't really a complaint at all.

Since October I have had repeated issues with the main drain in my house. At the recommendation of the city sewer division, I contacted Royal Rooter and spoke to the owner about my issues. After discussing the best course of action, I made an appointment for the next day and had them come out.

Although initially nervous about the price, Royal Rooter has been the least expensive company to run my main drain and were the most professional. They arrived on time (actually, about 15 minutes early), and In under an hour, they not only ran my drain, they cleared as much root as possible. I also had them video my drain, and they got the whole job done in under 2 hours.

What was really nice about Royal Rooter is they left no mess or waste. Having had to clean up after drain techs before, leaving no mess was a nice treat.

Courteous, professional, efficient, and clean. You have to appreciate this kind of service in a day and age when customer service is a bit of a lost art.
