I recently bought a home that was required by insurance to have a water leak detector/shut off device installed. During negotiations, it was determined this was the seller's responsibility. Before we knew that, we assumed it was ours & I called Royal Plumbing. I spoke with Tom who was very professional, informative, & seemed genuinely interested in answering all my questions about a new-to-me product. He gave me time, which I find invaluable & he has a really great attitude which is rare!

I reported my findings to the seller regarding time needed for installation, availability, & cost. She took it with a grain of salt & used a different contractor.

I'm moved in & the improper installation of the device left me covered in soap & without water throughout the entire house. Thankfully, I live in the country & the faucets outside still had water. Frantically, I called my home warranty company who referred me a local company with not-so-stellar reviews. I opted out of their recommendation & called Royal, agreeing to pay any cost out of pocket.

I got to talk to Tom again who was so helpful & calm during a very urgent & daunting time for me. I was home alone & had literally no one else to call. He didn't take advantage of the situation, but instead helped me troubleshoot until we found a solution. It took some time & research, but together we were able to get the water back on! I didn't have to file a warranty claim & wait 24-48 hours just for a contractor to get a hold of me then get me scheduled ""a few days later"". Water is essential. In the event I'm in an unfortunate situation again, Royal will, without a doubt, be the 1st call I make.

I find it exceedingly rare that companies don't take advantage of situations. Because of the treatment I'd experienced previously, I called them when I was in need, but expected to pay ""Royally"". That just wasn't the case. The case was I was treated fairly & with integrity. I was spoken to in a manner than made me feel empowered & that the person talking to me trusted I was smart enough to understand him. Many times, I feel I'm not given credit. I'm start & capable. Sometimes I just need guidance. Thank you for your guidance & diligence. I hope to never need plumbing services but if I do, Royal is who I'll call. :)

Prompt, professional & works clean!

I was having an issue with a slow shower & sink. Called my property manager to report & received a phone call from Royal Plumbing to set up an appointment. They were able to work with my schedule & send someone out the next day. The individual that arrived was very polite and respectful. I especially appreciate that he kept the area clean in addition to resolving the problem.

These guys have been so quick to respond to two separate emergencies I faced with an elderly woman's plumbing issues! They are. Really great at communicating, on time, clean and professional. The care they showed her in her confusion was outstanding. I will always use them as my go to first for any job. Their prices were fair and they made sure everything was pre approved and were so quick and accurate with their time! Great job!

Our kitchen drain was leaking behind the wall and pouring under the house. I called Royal Plumbing and spoke to Carol. She was super friendly and kind! She put me on the schedule and they made it out the same day! Josh was the technician that performed the work and he did an excellent job. He had to cut and replace some galvanized steel and ABS piping. The price was very fair! They are now my preferred plumber in Redding.

We had a bathroom water Presure problem wasn't sure if it was a leak somewhere or old sink faucet. The young man they sent was great we had already purchased a new faucet in anticipation of a coming remodel. The young man replaced the old with the new and restored a decent flow evidently the old faucet was corroding. All this to say I was charged
$ 247.00 for labor Outrageous! We moved from Nashville so I knew California prices would be a bit more but he was here actually working on the replacement less then an hour but $ 247.00 and not even a new customer discount. (TN $75 an hour 2 hour minimum) Obviously I will ask for hourly labor rate next time and bid out the larger whole house remodel plumbing project to multiple plumbers. Nice folks responsive expensive large vans but doesn't justify installing a small faucet in bathroom ..... jussayin
