Alain and his team are folks you can trust to do it right! They have been our plumbers for several years. We called with a leak in the wall and he found that our pressure regulator was dead, something that could cause other problems down the road but shows no symptoms. Glad he checked!

Only one star because it is not possible to rate negative stars. This plumber was deployed by home warranty service. Plumber came when scheduled and said needed to order part to fix leaky faucet. Unfortunately, the plumber then mixed up the paperwork and filed stating it was fixed when it was not. After multiple calls to warranty service and Royal Plumbing, they discovered their error. General Manager got involved and offered to have it fixed anytime starting next day. My only availability, now that days had already gone by, was on one specific afternoon. As it turns out, the plumber was not available that one afternoon. Now I was going to have to cancel business meetings to accommodate their plumber's schedule due to their error. I have been available the past several days. When trying to schedule, the GM told me that he was getting pissed off because he was trying to help me but I ""was being difficult"". My response: ""you're getting pissed off""? His reply: ""find someone else"" and he hung up the phone.

After prolonging a problem for days because the unbeknownst to me the plumber filed the wrong paperwork, repeatedly telling me on multiple phone calls in one day with different staff members that my leaky faucet was fixed when it was not, I finally realized my mistake: allowing Royal Plumbing to be deployed.

One phone call to a competitor explaining the situation with the faucet and the competing service is scheduled and will have the parts necessary to complete the project when I need it done.

I cannot wait to use this poor experience with Royal Plumbing as an example, at parties, online forums, and in all the classes I teach, of how not to interact with and provide service to a customer.

It was a Saturday night and I called every ""open"" plumber listed but either got no response and/or an apology about how they are sorry there wasn't a plumber available.

I got someone on the phone in minutes- which is great as we had a flood. The price wasn't too terribly high for $175.00 starting for an emergency visit at 11 at night. Our apartment maintenance said they couldn't make it until morning.

To my surprise after I agreed to no cancellation the apartment maintenance did show up. What a shame. I didn't explain this to the agent but told the plumber he just had an easy night and didn't dispute.

I got my invoice a few days later with a slashed price to $95.00 with a note from the plumber stating that the issue was resolved before he arrived. That was very kind!

I would definitely use this company again. I wish the emergency fee started at a lesser fee but I understand. It's late on a weekend night and if I had to work late on a weekend night I'd want to be paid too. It's actually a justifiable rate in emergencies!

I would not ever have anyone besides Alain work on the plumbing in my home- AND his prices are competitive and fair. He is, as others have mentioned, intelligent and honest. He installed my hot water heater and gave great advise on which one to select. He is currently working on fixing a disaster of a leak in my neighbor's home and she is thrilled with the quick work and attention to detail. Do not bother to look any further. This man is a professional who will save you serious money. And he is a very nice man.

We recently discovered a water leak under the slab in our secondary bathroom. Thankfully, we caught it early enough to control it, which allowed us to bid the repair job out. After getting multiple bids, we chose Royal Plumbing. We chose Royal Plumbing not only because of their competitive bid, but we also felt the most comfortable with them. Alain offered a smart solution and did a great copper re-pipe job for us. He also had great advice on some other plumbing issues that will alleviate some of the wear and tear on the plumbing and help prevent future leaks. I would definitely recommend Royal Plumbing without hesitation.

Royal Plumbing has served me for years. First put in a water purification system in for me in 2010. He did a great job. When we discovered that Carlsbad had extra ""things"" they put in the water system, Royal Plumbing added additional purification to get the extra toxins out with no additional charge. Good follow up with service. He also did a couple projects adding two showers to my home. One was very technical (one of a kind) situation. He made it happen and on budget.. .very pleased with working with Royal Plumbing and will continue to call on RP with any needs I may have - Mike M (Carlsbad)
