T C.What an excellent company. Eric called and asked if could arrive a bit early, showed up as promised, took care of our valve replacements and dishwasher supply line. He left the areas where he worked neater and cleaner than he found them. This experience prompted us to pull the trigger on our long talked about plan to someday replace replacing out very dated faucets throughout the house. We will be calling them back after the holidays to get that going.
DONT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. These guys are criminals. They gave me an estimate of what they thought the work would be but only spent a few hours before deciding the extra work wasn't necessary. Instead of adjusting the bill to reflect the work they actually did, they held to the obscenely high estimate. I paid them a reasonable fee (like 500$ per hour) but they wouldn't budge from their original ""estimate"". Then they had a lawyer sue me for the balance.
I had them come out for a leak under my sink. And to their credit he was out here very quickly and did good work. I knew it was just some tightening of the older pipes that were under the sink that I was having a difficult time doing myself. I also had a plug in a new garbage disposal that I installed about a month that I didn't know about which was causing my dishwasher to back up. Anyway, he knocked out the plug and tightened the pipes under the sink. Was here for 30 minutes and charged me the minimum charge - which was $375. I almost fell over. I get a minimum service charge of $150 or so, but $375??? I know things are getting more expensive, but this was complete gouging if you ask me. Make sure you ask what they are charging. I made the mistake and didn't. There are far too many other plumbers out there that don't charge anywhere near that much for a minimum service call.
I have used Royal Flush multiple times. Every experience has been a pleasure. Professional, courteous and reasonable. Highly Recommended.
Had a previous estimate from a plumber to a problem with kitchen sink in my Portland house. After they got their snake stuck in the drain they gave me an estimate of $7,800 to redirect the pipes in the crawl space. Royal Flush gave me a $3,000 estimate for exactly the same job. Casey and Eric came out yesterday, made the fix, cleaned up, all in under 3 hours. Oh yeah, the previous plumber said it would take 1-2 days to do the job. Fast, efficient, fair price. Definitely would recommend Royal Flush again if the need were to arise.
The service itself was fine, they came out relatively quickly and did the job, hence the 2 stars. The cost and value are atrocious however. They were here for 30 minutes and charged me $450. I get that things are expensive these days, but almost $1000 an hour seems ridiculous. I could've understood $200 an hour with a one our minimum or something, but this was over the top. Neither the scheduler nor the guys that came onsite mentioned anything about the cost being so high (or anything about cost for that matter). Obviously shame on me too for not asking, that won't happen again. Lots of plumbers out there, I would choose another if I were you.
Royal Flush is GREAT to work with! First, they were able to get out to my project within a short period of time. Their plumbers were great to work with and they have strong problem-solving skills. Very happy with the work they did! Jill E.
Royal Flush provided great, quick service.
We had a sudden loss of hot water pressure to all our hot water taps. I posted a message to Royal Flush via their web page late in the evening. They called promptly the next morning, and Weston was on site within an hour.
The repair was done on that first visit. It was all very professionaly done, and we'll definitely be using Royal Flush again.
Needing a plumber is often an emergency. I discovered water dripping under my house in Happy Valley. Very thankful that the nice people at Royal Flush Plumbing were able to get a plumber out the same afternoon.
Repairs were made in two areas with better updated water pipe materials than the old PVC pipe and glues.
When I discovered further leaking same evening, John the Plumber, was back the next morning make the repairs.
Thanks John and the Royal Flush!
Selling a home is known to be one of life's most stressful events. As the owner of a 1909 home I was understandably concerned about the sewer inspection. When the buyer's scope went awry (camera would only go five feet into clean out) I had the arduous task of finding someone to remedy that. I hired two more companies to scope that had better luck but still could not get a complete reading. A surprise cesspool was discovered in the process. That new detail along with knowing the line connected to the public sewer was from 1918 added a new level of stress to the situation.
Getting a definitive bid was impossible - there was no way to know what needed to be done before digging. The minimum costs I was given before the possible extras were already scarily high. Aside from costs there were several other questions that neither company was able to answer and it was mentioned my concrete driveway may need to be excavated. I felt one more opinion was needed. Luckily I was referred to Royal Flush by someone who had used them for a sewer line and was very happy with their work. After a detailed phone discussion with Ted the owner I was able to quickly get a solid bid that was very reasonable and set up an appointment for the work in two days. I've never been so happy to see a worker! Ted was friendly, confident and focused giving me assurance that all would be okay. He had no trouble scoping the entire line - something the other THREE companies could not do. To my relief demolishing the driveway was not needed. Ted's crew was meticulous, tidy and fast. The sewer line was replaced and the cesspool seamlessly decommissioned in just a few hours.
Property owners know that uneasy feeling that comes with a major home repair. The unknowns can keep you awake at night. There's much time invested in researching and hunting down the right person to do the job. You hope you can trust what you've been told and the cost won't be outrageous. An ethical plumber is a rare phenomenon in my personal experience. I really lucked out in finding someone with the knowledge and skills that Ted has for this daunting repair. Needless to say I'm a very satisfied customer and will only be using Royal Flush for my plumbing needs from now on.
