Steve really helped us out of a bind and in record time (within hours of calling). He was very friendly and respectful of our home. We have an infant and he wore shoe covers without us even requesting that he do this - very cool of him. While searching for a plumber and receiving quotes, one company told us that the job would require new pipes and Steve found that it was merely a simple bolt needing tightening. Chill and honest guy. He hardly charged us for his time. Would definitely recommend him!

We had new appliances arrive yesterday morning and the delivery guys wouldn't install the dishwasher because we didn't have a shut off valve. My wife did some googling and found Steve and gave him a call - said he could come out later in the afternoon to install one. Due to ridiculous traffic, he arrived later than he planned to, but kept us informed the entire time when he would get to the house. The job ended up being a little more than anticipated because he had to hard wire the dishwasher and undo a lot of the work the previous owners did to the plumbing, but instead of being like most other companies that would say ""we can't do that"", Steve was like ""I got this"". He explained everything along the way, and even let my curious 19 month old son watch him while he worked (safely of course). Long story short, Steve was the best professional we've hired so far to do work on our house, and if we have any more additional plumbing needs, he's going to be our first call!

Royal Flush Plumbing is the best plumbing company I've interacted with in Philly. Given my extensive sewer line woes over the past year or so, that's really saying something. Steve is enthusiastic and passionate about his job, and truly, truly cares about customer satisfaction.

I'll go ahead and list the great things about Royal Flush Plumbing:

1. Royal Flush Plumbing is priced very well. Steve, the owner, doesn't seem to want to rip you off like the other plumbers I've dealt with. I have been having a problem with my sewer line leaking for a while now, and even though it was a very tricky job, Steve quoted me at a fraction of the cost that other plumbing companies were telling me. This job involved digging up a huge chunk of my front sidewalk to replace the old sewer line. Other companies were very reluctant to do this job because there was a lot of utility lines in the way. Steve and his crew came and took every hurdle in stride. They found that a steam pipe ran underneath my sidewalk, which complicated matters even more - Steve and his crew quickly came up with a solution, and tunneled under the steam line to replace the sewer line all the way to the curb trap. Even though this job took a lot longer and was much trickier than expected, Steve stuck to his original quoted price, which I really appreciated.
2. Fast service. I originally was planning on going with another company that had previously fixed my curb trap, but they were being pretty wishy-washy on when they would be able to schedule this repair for me. Keep in mind, a sewer line leak is not a fun time - my basement was filled with sewer flies, and sewer gases would rise into my home every morning and evening when a lot of my neighbors were using their systems. So, I wasn't really pleased with the first company that told me ""maybe in 2 weeks, maybe in 5 weeks, who knows?"" I called Steve on Sunday during the day, he came along to look at my job late on a Sunday night, and within the week, obtained permits to dig and replace the line, and completed the job on Friday.
3. Performed a full-service job. The sewer line repair involves backfilling the hole and re-cementing the sidewalk that was dug out. Steve told me as part of his contract, he would also fill the concrete back in, which would save me the trouble of finding an independent concrete company to do this. Other plumbing companies refused to re-cement the sidewalk, and would only replace the sewer line, for almost twice as much as what Steve quoted me at.
4. I was impressed that Steve stayed with the crew during the entire job. You don't see this very much anymore with Philly plumbing companies, and it really made me feel like I was being valued as a customer.
5. Respectful. A lot of the other plumbers I dealt with were in a rush to have me sign a contract quickly, and were reluctant to explain large parts of the contract (or just didn't feel that a contract was important at all). Steve made the time to sit down and walk me through the contract again before I even made the first deposit, a sign of someone who really cares about his customers.

Overall, I was really, really impressed with Royal Flush Plumbing. Even though Steve seemed really busy, jumping from job to job, he still made sure in the end to complete all the parts of the job detailed in our contract. However, I'm so glad I found Royal Flush Plumbing, and I will definitely call them first in the future whenever I need help with my plumbing!

I called Steve because of the many glowing reviews that came before this, and I am here to tell you that they are all absolutely accurate. As relatively new homeowners, my wife and I have dealt with all manner of contractors and repair people over the last year, and of them all, Steve is the most dedicated worker, most creative problem-solver, and most passionate about what he does.

We called him due to flooding in our basement, late at night, and he drove more than half an hour to assess the situation that very night. From there, he went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the problems--inside and outside the house--spending a tremendous amount of time in the next few days in order to ensure it would not happen again. This included removal of carpet and padding; removal and replacement of different sections of sheet rock; and designing and implementing an expansion of our rain leaders to make sure the water from the gutters went far enough from the house to avoid soil he identified as more porous and therefore part of the initial problem.

He did all of this work with the best, most upbeat attitude, and with a care for helping us out which you cannot fake. He also stuck to his incredibly reasonable quote, even though the job took far longer than he initially anticipated. Finally, he brought his wife Valerie to help one evening, and unsurprisingly, she also had the warmest, best attitude.

I just can't say enough good things about Steve and Royal Flush Plumbing. Highly, highly recommended!

He came the next day and address the issue professionally, explaining and describing what the solution is.
He didn't leave the house until this was repaired 100%
Not only that he also help with unclogging the sink with no additional charge and cleaned after his work leaving my home organized and neat

I called Steve for an emergency just after midnight when my bathroom light fixture was pouring water. Despite sleet and rain, Steve made it to my s philly row home in record time, providing text alerts along the way for his ETA. He was respectful of my home, worked cleanly and quickly to find the problem which turned out to be a roof leak. He didn't want to waste my time or money by doing unnecessary work once he knew it wasn't a plumbing/HVAC issue so gave me a great roofer recommendation and charged an extremely reasonable price for such an emergent and middle of the night call. He was friendly and knowledgeable with an understanding of what is reasonable/appropriate work. I'd gladly recommend him to anyone for either emergent or non emergent needs! He's a throwback to the fair and honest family run business. Thank you Steve!
