Beware!!! This idiot replaced a curb vent for me and did not connect the inside drain so the sewage was basically going into the basement and under the sidewalk. I'm assuming most of these reviews are fake since he's got 4.5 stars. DONT FALL FOR THE CON

I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Steve and Royal Flush. I noticed a burst pipe in the middle of a thunderstorm and my basement flooded! I called Royal Flush and Steve rushed over IMMEDIATELY (within 10 minutes) even though he was juggling his time across a few jobs. He fixed my plumbing problem quickly to stop the flooding. He also came back later after hours when done with his jobs to clean up the storm water and really make sure my basement was in a good place. He was so nice, funny, helpful, skilled, quick, and very fair in pricing. Also, Valerie, the office manager, was a dream. She was easy to work with, clear and super friendly. I am a first time homeowner, and I am so happy I found Steve, Valerie and the Royal Flush team. I am definitely a customer for life! I highly highly highly recommend reaching out to Royal Flush if you need anything. You won't find better, smarter or friendlier service.

On 7/29/20: water heater broke, leaking water. Contacted Steve Stepps from Royal Flush Plumbing. Came to home to assess issue. Have a quote from new water heater instillation. Recommended a particular brand. Stated could come on 7/30 at 8:00 AM. Job would take 1 hour. Discussed doing other plumbing jobs in the home like clearing slow drains, evaluation of dishwasher, Checking washing machine connections, and replacement of outside faucet (handle was broken).
7/30/20: was due to come around 7:30- 8 AM. Sent messages that on the way. Wife sent message that Steve would drain old water first and then would go to Home Depot while water heater was draining. Asked for deposit. Did not show until 9:15 and completed job around 12:15. Stated the old water heater is still draining water and will return on 7/31/20 to remove old water heater and the other plumbing issues discussed on 7/30. Time to come on 7/31 was 5 pm
On 7/31/20: I Left work early to meet Steve. Y Throughout the day, I called the office and sent messages through the day to get price of my 4 services. No responds until about 4:25-4:30 which was close to the time Steve was supposed to be at my home. Asked me for deposit but didn't send an invoice. Sent message to Steve's wife about sending invoice. Arrived home around 4:50 pm. Paid deposit of 176 dollars. No call until about close to 5:30-6 stating in traffic. Wife sends message around 6:30 stating Steve was in the area and should be coming soon. Around 7:10-7:15, sent message to Steve asking when will he arrive. He states he is at Home Depot purchasing items. Asked if he needed to reschedule. He said no, he would be there in a couple of minutes. Around 8, still no show. Called wife to say how upset I was. She gave excuses such as ""Steve had a long day"", ""Steve was in a lot of traffic"", ""Steve locked his keys in the car."" Offered discount for service though never explained what it would be. I had prior obligations with my child. I explained to Steve and his wife that Saturday was not a good day and Sunday morning would be better. Wife offered me a time of 9:30 AM. I said, ""No, that is not good for me at all. It would have to be 8 AM or earlier as I had to be somewhere else later that morning. I also stated that if the job can not be done at the requested time, I would need my 176 dollars refunded."" She agreed to terms of arriving between 7:30-8 AM.

On 8/2, Steve sent message at 8:30 AM stating something about riding his motorcycle to get his truck. I had enough by then and asked for refund. Throughout the day, I asked for refund. Ignored my messages.
8/3: sent messages and attempted to call Steve answered message and stated he would bring the cash to me. I gave him instructions to give to my neighbor since I was not going to be available. Late that evening around 9-9:30. Monies were Never delivered that evening.
8/2-8/3: sent several text message and tried to call but unable to reach.

Overall I would rate this company less than zero. Poor communication, chronic inexcusable lateness, and aggressive to get deposits/monies. No where stating non refundable deposit. But they will ignore your calls if you are requesting a refund for services not performed or if you have a complaint about his chronic lateness. Still have not received a refund after asking innumerable times. The contract for services were null and void once I asked for my refund.
Steve returned back to my home and performed on of the services (replace outside water faucet) on my home without my permission! Isn't that trespassing??Then sent me a long message stating he did the services because he is nice guy. So, he did the service after I specifically no longer wanted anything to do with him and so he could justify keeping my deposit!!!

Please whom ever is reading these reviews , take this one seriously! I do not want this to happen to anyone else!!

Steve was great. He showed up on time and change my hose bib in no time. Very knowledgeable and very professional. Prices are fair. I will definitely hire him again.

Half assed a job and charged an arm and a leg for a project that they knew they could get away with due to seasonality. When the issue occurred again they kept making false appointments to come fix it and never showed up. We eventually had to call them with different numbers because they started ducking calls. Stay away!

Had Steve come out to fix a problem with my garbage disposal and was told he would be there around 6. He didn't show up until about 8:30. Thought it was fixed until I noticed a leak coming from the disposal so I called to have him come back out to take a look and he told me a
would stop by around 2pm. He later said he got tied up at another job and would be here by 5pm and no later. I waited and waited and he never showed up...and never let me know that he wasn't stopping by. He let me know the next day that he got tied up at the same job and asked if he could come by around 7:30 and at that point I said I would monitor the situation and if it got worse I would contact him. I reached out the next day to let him know the problem got worse and he asked if he could swing by at noon. Guess what? He never showed up again and never let me know that he wasn't coming. Absolutely horrible communication from this company and would not recommend. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I got a 10% discount for him being late the first time.

Right before we moved in to our new condo, Royal Flush did some plumbing work to fix a leak in our kitchen ceiling. Within 5 months of moving in, the ceiling began to leak again, causing the plaster to peel and a large water stain on our kitchen ceiling to appear. Initially, Royal Flush said they would have someone out to fix the problem; however, that person never showed up. We have tried contacting Royal Flush several times (calling and leaving multiple voicemails). They never gave us any explanation as to why the person never showed up and have not returned a single call.

This is the second time I've used Royal Flush and I'm really frustrated with them. The actual plumbing work is good, but Steve and Val aren't good at communicating or being on time. I had a project that required multiple visits, and they were consistently at least 2 hrs late with little communication. I was pushed to pay before the work was completed, and I did because it was in the final stages. They have not come by to finish the job after multiple attempts and missed appointments to get them back.

Steve seems like a really nice guy, but he is not very professional. He was scheduled to arrive between 3-4 pm (so I took off early) to replace my hot water heater, but didn't show until 9:30 PM! The worst part was that he never contacted me to let me know he was running late, so I just waited and waited. Whenever I called or texted, they said they'd be there shortly. He got right to work when he arrived...but that lasted until 1:30 AM! It was kind of a nightmare, but I think his work was good.

Lastly, since it was so late, he said he'd come back tomorrow to pick up the old water heater for disposal. Well, it's been 2 weeks and it's still in my F-ing basement, so now I have to figure out how to get rid of it. Thanks for Royally Screwing me over!
