I had them come out to unclog my sewer. The guys are nice and respectful. They tried unclogging my sewer by running a snake through the bathtub overflow . I signed a paper that they would do it for $165.00 which is average for unclogging a sewer line. When the tub clean out didn't work, they said they would have to go in the roof and it would cost $377.00. They never even tried running the snake inside the house from the clean out in by the back door. I told them I would find some one else. I still had to pay $49.00 for them to diagnose the problem. I will never even try to use them again. I still have the same problem I had before. I called someone else told them what my problem is which is the same thing I told them. He quoted me $150.00 to unclog the sewer line. I was told about the diagnosis fee before they came, so that's my own fault. You advertise as a family owned company and home town business. I am going to tell all of my friends how you do a bait and switch. Unclogging a main line in a 1 bathroom townhouse should not cost nearly $400.00. You are trying to rip people off.

Efficient service and very communicative. Gave us a guarantee on all work. Joseph and Diego are super nice.

Absolutely terrible... estimate was outrageous because the work was in a tight spot. Labor rate is $500+/hr. Are you kidding me!!!

We have used Route 66 Plumbing for a little over 6 years, since they were PS Plumbing. When we first started using them BJ always serviced us himself, and things were great. He even crawled on our roof a couple of times to fix a stubborn clog that we get in our kitchen sink (old house old plumbing). As they started to expand, their service begin to change. I understand as companies expand they bring on new employees, and they don't necessarily offer the same level of service that the owner of the company would. We had an issue with our shower, and they came out fixed it, but put a piece on wrong so the handle was not correct in our shower. I called, they came back and fixed it. The next time we went to use them to clean out a drain there was an issue with the technician coming on time, as well as they had drastically raised their prices. After speaking with Kristi the owner's wife, I thought everything was taken care of and I was satisfied with their response and to the fix they offered us. We were happy, and I continued to recommend them to people while keeping their information close at hand in case we needed them again. On Friday, February 19, as things were thawing, we had a pipe break. As we were trying to get the water turned off, I asked my husband to call Route 66 Plumbing to get an appointment. They scheduled us for Tuesday February 23 from 1-3 in the afternoon. My father-in-law was able to put a temporary block in place so that we could have water in the rest of the house, and we could live without water in the kitchen for a few days. This morning, Tuesday February 23, we received a call at about 9:45 informing us that we were being cancelled and they would no longer service us, because we were unhappy with our last two service calls. According to the assistant, she made a mistake and didn't realize we were on the do not service list. Basically no apology, and the owners didn't have the courage to tell us themselves what was going on despite being customers of theirs for years. So here we sit 5 days without water to our kitchen, expecting a plumber to come, and now we have to get on another plumber's waiting list because they didn't have the decency to let us know sooner that they were unwilling to service us any longer.
When Route 66 Plumbing does the job correctly the first time they are great, a little expensive, but great. When they don't do it correctly, and you ask them to fix it, please expect to be put on their do not service list.

Would not recommend at all they have horrible customer service, talked to the main guy Stephen and he was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Not sure about the actual workers but if the supervisor or owner act like this, one can only wonder.

My husband needed help with closing off a pipe in the yard. Route 66 Plumbing was asked to come out by another plumbing company. The plumber did a wonderful job and he did it quickly. Price was fair considering the time my husband was putting into the job. I will call them next time!!!

I'm in Washington state and I needed some work done on my moms kitchen sink. Not knowing the company or exactly what the issues were I was very reluctant to call anybody. Prior to coming the first time I received a text message with a picture of the guy coming to do the estimate and do the plumbing under her sink. I was able to tell my mother who was coming and what the person looked like. That was comforting! She ended up needing a new faucet and shut off valves. Excellent communication and fast service with comfort. Perfect!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Horrible customer service, and they do not honor their guarantee on their work. I spent $900 for 1.5 hours of work installing my new hot water heater (labor only-I purchased the heater myself at home depot. They installed the hot water heater on 09/06/2022. They said I had a year service guarantee. Now, less than 2 weeks later, my hot water heater is leaking and the alarm is going off. I called their office and the receptionist, Julie, was very rude and was giving me the run around about having them fix my problem. When the technician, David, comes out, he gets very defensive and says that my valves are the problem. He says that since I bought my own water heater, they do not honor the service guarantee. They can fix it, but for another $1,000.
I suspected something was fishy when the inspector came out after the installation and was surprised with the way they had installed it and the materials that they used. He even called them to ask them why they used those materials. If the valves were bad, why did they still install the water heater and take my money and run?
I should have also been suspicious when they initially gave me an estimate for $2,400, and then I got the same estimate from Home Depot for $1350. Home Depot was going to install the next day, so when they called me later to follow up about their estimate, I told them of the price difference, and they agreed to match the labor cost if I bought my own water heater. They could install it that day, so I agreed.
That was a huge mistake! Please be careful and do not make the same mistake I did. I will never use them again!

I appreciate the immediate attention and appointment but the fact that they fixed the issue in 15 mins and charged me $1000 makes me feel like I was took advantage of. I wasn't thinking until after I signed. Think about your estimate quote and service before you agree I really hope that they reach out to me and help with the miscalculation.

Called to come a fix a broken pipe that we already had dug up. It would have taken four piece of pvc to fix maybe an hour to do the work and they said they would charge us $1,100. We got mad at that price and then they told us of $550 is as low as we can go! Are you kidding me!! Scammers don't use! Then charge us $50 to drive to our house to try and scam us!!
