If I could give them a zero I would, called them January 20th, 2025 and they sent.a Joe out here for a clogged drain pipe. Joe came out here and supposedly snaked out my pipe, first through the clean out and he stayed he had gotten all the way through to the septic tank and that my septic tank needed to be pumped and that was the reasonf or my bathroom flooding so I paid Joe $400 after explaining to him that my septic tank had already been pumped not even 3 months ago however I didn't question it thinking maybe the drain field had been messed up since then so I then called and paid someone $400 to come and empty a near empty septic tank which was not the problem like I had already told him so I called and spoke with Connie about the frustration on my end. Connie then sent him out here a second time, this time he decided to snake through the toilet, Joe did not have the tools needed to do this even and his snake was too big to fit so my neighbor brought his tools down to my house for the guy to use and he took the end of of his snake to try to make it fit and it did but that made it basically just a wire going through the toilet pipes, so he wraps up after doing that and leaves the second time. The very next day our bathroom is STILL flooding remind you we are now $1000 into this with young children walking around our house. So my fiance decided to take matters into his own hands and we go and buy an industrial snake we try to snake it out ourselves and that doesn't work because it didn't seem long enough so we then DIG up the pipe in the backyard near the septic tank and there we find a rubber fitting, so we open up the rubber fitting and low and behold there is a giant clog!! So I call back to speak with Connie and explain to her what is going on and how we have pictures and videos of us unclogging it ourselves and that we would like a refund, they stated they snaked all the way through to the septic tank, someone please tell me how they could've possibly snaked all the way through the pipe to the septic tank and there was still a giant clog but that they would launch and investigation and call us the following week. I waited and that week passed with no phone call so I called back today February 18th, 2025 to find out the status of the investigation and Connie is very very rude and does not even remember me when I first call, some investigation huh? I tell her we will be contacting the news station and an attorney to get our money back and Connie starts yelling not to threaten her company and informing me they are no longer an option for me when I need help like I would ever use their services again considering the terrible service I received and not to mention paying for a service that I did NOT receive nor was it close to what I paid for!! Worst decision I ever made was to pick up the phone and call Roto Rooters I have always used Grimes and from here on out I always will but I was trying to save a little money and they were a little cheaper but I ended up spending more because of everything that happened anyway and I guess it is true, you get what you pay for!!! Terrible service and I would never recommend them to anyone let alone try to use their services again.

I read the reviews after and Im glad I did. They cleaned my main line out and even unclogged my washing machine..it had back fed baby wipes into the drain. Note to all if you don't wanna see plumbers then don't use wipes and flush. I do agree the guy who answered the phone sounded like it was the worst day ever but the two fellas that did the job were pleasant and on time. I do agree they are pricey but call around it's never a cheap job getting plumbing issues resolved. I would recommend the two that showed up to my place.. Big Shawn and an older gent who looked like Super Mario worked the problem. Hope this review helps out people who may be in a $hitty situation like I was.

I wish I could leave no stars.. these guys are a total rip off. They charged me $350 for 20 minutes to cap a pipe in my pasture. I dug it out and they showed up, said they had the wrong part, didn't come back for three hours, then one guy showed up with his girlfriend in the truck and he capped the pipe in 20 min and handed me a bill for $350. Not only that, but they used one of the wooden pasture boards to pull themselves up and ripped it off. Left it lying in the walkway with two inch nails sticking up so that when I went to check their work, I stepped on it and impaled my foot. When I showed them the hole I dug, i saw one guy use the board and told him not to because it wouldn't hold his (considerable) weight. I called the office to complain about the ridiculous price and their gross negligence and got attitude from the creep who answered the phone. Wish I had checked here first. Obviously they rip off everyone.

Wish i had read below before using these guys. They said it was dry lines, house had been empty a long time, and sure enough cleared it up, temporarily. They went 150 ft. But Main line is 180, i found out later. 1 week later, plugged again. No cooperation at all. I will update when i find someone else.

These guys came and really ripped us off. Had a clog on the sewer line that caused the drains inside to backup. I'm an emergency I contacted roto rooter. Unfortunately before the service (con) guy got here I had to leave for work leaving only my wife and kids home. The guy showed up and sat in his car for several minutes, probably running the meter, until my wife went out to get him. She showed him the drain access. After an hour and no update she found him sitting on a bucket doing nothing. He assured her it was going to be fixed. More waiting and no updates she went back out which apparently annoyed him. He said we wasn't able to get past the 90 turn and inquired if we wanted to have him put a camera down the pipes. The camera was $300 and then $300 an hour. She refused. He said the entire 150 exterior sewer line needed to be replaced and they would do it for $6000 to $8000. The service guy charged her $380 and left without the problem being fixed or even minimally better. The next day I dug a 40 foot trench and replaced all of the sewer line up to where he assured her the problem was. I did not find any breaks or clogs in the line I replaced. I installed new line and thought the problem had to be fixed. The next day the drains backed up again. I had to call another company, already scared after the roto rooter call went so horribly wrong. This time it was a Saturday and after hours. I contacted Lenawee Sanitation. He came snaked the entire sewer line, found the problem and waited around for me to run some water down the drain. He took me to the manhole and showed me the water flowing. His total cost on a Saturday after hours was $160. He said he cleared the clog and did not find any problems with the line and the work I had done was unnecessary. Roto rooter cost me another $1000 to fix the problem that didn't exist. I'm sure the service guy saw a lone female and then saw dollar signs.

I called the supervisor and asked what I had paid for. He said that was just the cost of his employee coming over. He said the camera cost $235 and not $300. He couldn't explain what the over charge of 65 was for. After Lenawee Sanitation finished we haven't had another problem.

These people are con artist and will rip you off.
