The other night I came home from a birthday party to find a swimming pool in my basement filled with ""poop soup!"" I called roto-rooter, and set up an appointment to have my sewer drain looked at. Today Matt and another guy came to the house on time, and called ahead to let me know they were on the way. The used booties, even though I said not to worry about it. They explained their pricing to me and explained that this price includes a 6 month warranty, so if i have problems they will come right back out and snake the drain again with no additional fee. They diligently snaked the drain, even though it was freezing cold, and had many inches of snow. The price includes a camera inspection that will show you that your drains are clear, or if you have other problems you may need to address. I would recommend roto-rooter to anyone looking for fast, friendly service.

Had to reschedule service twice because they couldn't hold the appointment time. SEVERELY OVERPRICED! Just shy of $500 to install a kitchen faucet, already purchased, and fix a flush system in a standard toilet. 2 hours, $465, I know great attorneys cheaper than that. Guess I know who I'll never refer or call again, atrocious!

Easy web tool scheduling - had some issues making the original scheduled time slot but kept me informed regarding delays and updated appointment. Came during snow storm so extra points for that. Relatively simple job but work was completed w/o a hitch.

Sewer line backed up and into our newly carpeted basement. Service guy did an excellent job clearing the obstructions and showing me the roots seeping into our pipes. Restoration guys were good but after floating the carpet the did NOT stretch it back out properly. I'll have to call a carpet installer as I don't think the restoration guys had the skills. Not happy about that part.

This is the second time I have used them to unclog our pipes, they charged me double the amount. The sales guy I had was terrible and yes I said sales guy. He might have had experience being a plumber but he was much better at being pushy. He tried to convince me to sign off on a $18k project the day before Christmas Eve with out consulting my husband. He totally took advantage of me being a woman. I will never use them again!

We had a slow sewer drain in the lowest level of our house. We requested an appointment online Sunday for the next day, and they called first thing to confirm.
They arrived towards the end of their estimated appointment window, but resolved the clog quickly. Their work was mostly outside, and were clean and seemed thorough. At the end, the camera showed we may need some expensive repairs done, but there was no pressure to approve the estimate or schedule the next work.

The pilot light on our hot water tank went out on a Saturday. We called Roto Rooter because they advertise not charging extra for the weekends, which is a huge plus.

The technician we had was Mat, and he was very professional and knowledgable. It turns out that our problem couldn't be fixed and we needed a new tank. But, Mat did take his time and exhaust all options, and offered advice on what to do next.

Wow, Roto Rooter far exceeded my expectations! They were thorough and calm through all the ups and downs of a pipe leaking. Plus, they were very clean!!

Had a plugged toilet and bathroom drain I then called Roto-Rooter, an employee stopped by and was in and out in half an hour. Roto-Rooter will definitely be our go to guys for any plumbing problems we may have in the future, affordable, fast service.
