My technician was Shaun and he was great. He fixed the leaking pipe I had in my bathroom and even repaired the hole that was made, also put caulk around my sink. The price was steep, but I had to have it done and it was dome to my satisfaction.
Absolute joke of a company. Scheduled an appointment to fix the issue of no water in my home. An hour after my appointment I get a call to say they are running behind and can't get to me till tomorrow. Screw you guys. I can't flush toilets, no water to drink, no water for dishes, no water for laundry. You bastards waited until after 6:00 to tell me this so I can't call anyone else?! And this from a 24/7 company. Never again. Stay away from these idiots.
Mary S.Good customer service overall. Showed up very quickly on emergency. The pricing though - it was triple the cost of other plumbers in the area for the same job.
Plumber is professional and on time.
Please adjust your pricing with local market.
Your company unclogged my kitchen sink for $140 in 2015. You quoted me $400 for the same service in 2022.
I understand that inflation takes place. But average annual income hasn't increased more than 2.5 times since 2015.
Melanie F.asked scheduling person what the range of prices is to install a purchased kitchen faucet - she said there are no set prices. Man comes and quotes OVER $700 and of course the $75 doesn't cover the $100 estimate so I send him away (after saying that they ""have standard pricing for all services"". Liars. Called my community plumber and they charged me $130 INCLUDING replacing a broken cut off valve. DO NOT use Roto Rooter they are a rip off.
Lindsey K.I have an older home with some older piping and plumbing system. Well, my kitchen sink and laundry drain into the same area and it can cause my floor drain in the basement to back up. One day, I walked downstairs to a decent amount of backup, so I gave Roto Rooter a try after trying a less expensive route the last time, and spending a decent amount to have my pipes rodded.
They gave me an overview of what was happening, why it was happening and what my options were. They rodded all the drainage, showed me the dropping of city sewer and showed me the condition of my cast iron. Again, they reviewed what I could do to remedy and fix the situation. Due to finances, I opted for a cheaper maintenance option, to add an enzyme to my drain monthly, which kept the rodding fix maintainable. I am currently saving to have them back for a more permanent fix, but I am grateful for how transparent and understanding of financial strain they were, not pushy on which option I chose, even though it was less money.
The technicians were great, very helpful and professional, did a good job of cleaning up - left nothing behind but improved drainage. :)
We were told that the sump pump needed to be replaced, and then we were told they would do it off the books for $1100 instead of the company's $1500. When we called around for other prices, we learned that we could have a sump pump replaced between $400 and $600.
I rarely write reviews but think twice before booking these guys. Had a slow draining sink in my bathroom - simple fix. Remove the p trap and clean it. I couldn't get the p trap loose and didn't have the tools so decided to call these guys. Technician shows up, looks at the sink and goes ""I usually charge $585 but ill do 350, 300 if I don't need to bring my machine upstairs"" I already knew this guy was going to try to take me for a ride but I stayed quiet. He made me sign a liability waiver and the contract before he started but assured me everything would be good and ""looks in working order"". He ends up breaking the pop up valve and says ""well its unclogged but your sink is going to leak, i only unclog drains nothing else"". Wtf? Is this not a plumbing company. I ended up paying hundreds for a unclogged but broken sink that will require further plumbing help. If he was going to break the parts under the sink I could have saved money and snapped it off myself. Find a real, local plumber.
Todd G.It's not every day that you have sewer water coming up from your shower and floor drain but today I had some bad luck. After scrambling to try and figure out what... I called a local plumber and left a voicemail... an hour later still no response. I continued to try to suck raw sewage up from my finished basement drain. A gag or two and did eventually get the water to stop coming up.
I figured I should call Roto-Rooter... the plumber I called ... still no response.
They picked up in two rings and the gentleman on the phone was scheduling me to have someone over and telling me everything was gonna be okay a s they are hear to help. I honestly was feeling relieved already and nothing happened yet.
In an hour the field manager was over looking at things and let me know his plumber will be showing up with the hour. Mitch looked around and was figuring out the best approach. Since the basement was finished he did check out the walls with a special camera to make sure there wasn't a bigger issue with the walls getting wet. Good news ... all was okay.
Once the plumber got to our house he was already updated on what was going on and was ready to get started. He got started and was very good at updating us and letting us know his plan a and plan b. He got started and sure enough found that the main sewer line going to the street was likely clogged. He got his rodding machine out and got started sire enough it was clogged were he expected.
He spent plenty of time making sure all was flowing well and there were no issues. Doubled check everything and we were back to normal.
I by no means was expecting this level of service.. not everyday I think I would be writing a nice review for this team but I was very impressed with the service. Things you never would think of ... I would highly recommend roto-rooter. They got this crap done! Lol
