Alyson M.Highly suggest NOT using Roto-Rooter for any of your plumbing needs in the Twin Cities area. Had Scott (a master plumber for 30 years) come out to diagnose my ""broken"" water heater.
$3900 for a broken power vent. Wrote up the estimate.
Fast forward to another tech (thanks Dave!) to find out, nothing was wrong with the water heater. The duct to the outside of the house was clogged with debris. Tech went outside, removed the debris, water heater worked.
Super happy we didn't fall victim to a $4k unethical and dishonest diagnosis, but I'm warning everyone else out there, so it doesn't happen to them.
Scott's last words to me when I declined service, were.. ""Good luck finding someone to do it cheaper.""
Well, I now happen to know many who do it cheaper and with integrity. So if ya'll need a referral for plumbing, I know a few.
Neil K.kitchen sink clogged. clog was in line approximately 25 feet from main line. repairman used snake to clear, took about 45 minutes. the charge was $435.
repairman professional but this cost was so excessive I'll not use these people again and will definitely not recommend them to anyone for any plumbing work.
